My Microsoft Money has stopped getting prices online

I've noticed the same - the process appears to work but all prices have been constant for the last week or two. I'm on Money 2000 so I'll give the 2005 option a go as well.
EDIT - just tried the download link and it appears to have stopped working. I'll give it a try later to check if it is a temporary error.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
I have tried to copy data from Money2002 to a later version, without success. If your current version does all you want I should stick with it.
"If it ain't broke..."
It certainly should be possible to open a 2002 file in a later version. I have a virtual PC that I do testing on and will try that with the download if & when it works.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

Yiks  that's a pain - I'll keep an eye on the blog to see if it was intentional - trying to think is a kept a copy0 -
There are 2 versions still available for download from Microsoft. Not Money2005 but Money Sunset. I haven't tried either version and I don't intend to unless Money2002 stops working.
See http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/search.aspx?q=money%20sunset
Edit: Do not use the link above; it's for the US version of Money Sunset. Use the link in post 17 below for the UK version of Money 20050 -

It looks like a mistake. The file can still be downloaded from its direct URL

This link is for the UK version, my understanding is that the other Sunset versions are for US onlyRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Ah, thanks for that. The original link did seem to be going around in circles somewhat.0

I've now done a bit of testing with this. It appears that share prices are still being downloaded but unit trusts are not. Rather annoyingly many of the links in the version of MS Money above no longer work and generate error messages as they are trying to access web pages or services that have disappeared.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

fund prices restarted today0

I've just tried it and it has updated some of the managed fund prices with yesterdays date 5/9/12..... But not all of them?
Anyone else seen this partial update as I've not seen this before?0
