Don't worry about him, thats a typical guys way of trying to make you feel less worried and stressed out.

We think that if we don't make a huge fuss, and we treat it as if everythings fine, nothings wrong, then we won't create a panic and unnecessarily cause you more stress and worry.

If he were panically rushing around, making a fuss over you every second, thats when he knows for a fact that its bad. While there is a good chance you are fine (which is the case) then he will try to play it down to avoid creating any more worry.

You girls don't always make it easy for us. Most questions you ask in our minds have two answers, and nine times out of ten both answers are wrong. ('How does my hair look?', 'great!', 'stop just trying to make me feel better and tell me the truth!', 'OK, erm, it looks alright?' 'ALRIGHT? Is that it!? god you never give me any compliments!')

Wishing you the best of luck with your test results Em. I went through the same thing last year and its a very frightening place to be. Thankfully my tests came back clear (none cancerous) and I hope you get the same result.
