Hugs to you.
Please just talk to him. It may be difficult but you have to do it. Tell him exactly how you're feeling. He might understand or if not understand, he might just be able to hold you.

Well tell him to put the phone down, turn the telly off and talk to him! I'm sorry, but I think if you spoke to him about tomorrow's tests then he would stop everything. Does he even know you have a lump?

Blokes aren't very good at this sort of thing
I went through something similar a few years back, and my OH just didnt know what to do for the best so retreated into what he knew. I thought he was just being unfeeling but he just didnt want to let on how scared he was that it might be worse than he wanted to think.
In the end it was all ok - and I hope yours is too - but it may just be he is too scared to think about it. Do you have any close girlfriends you can talk to?

We're not all like that ...Blokes aren't very good at this sort of thing
em84, if he feels anything for you, he will listen if you can get his attention. Getting his attention in a way that doesn't get his back up may be the problem.
You know him best. You know how he reacts.
I don't mean to be crude, but what if you put his hand on the affected area and just asked him gently if he likes that? We know the answer. Then take it from there. Explain quietly and calmly (if you can) what is worrying you.
Just an idea. It may well not work. But here's one bloke just trying to be creative.

Stay strong you need all your strength for 2morro, i know its easier said than done but let him go to his friends. He will soon realise where his place is, he could be feeling the same as you. My thoughts are with you and i hope everything goes well. x0
