No, no contact from Orange. I had my Broadband extended in October but no notification of the second line ending. Just another reason to stay away from Orange Broadband.
  • We have just discovered over the last few days our line is no longer working.

I have a disabled daughter and all her consultants use this line, some of them i have no number for

I have had no email or notification and I am not very happy
  • Whats the current status whith this, I've not really been keeping up to speed with it? We got our broadband extended last autumn, but now that I'm due a upgrade, I'm wondering if my BB will carry on or not past my contract termination date?
  • Time will tell....
My bb was extended until my mobile contract ends in January next year. After the way we were treated by Orange I have no loyalty to them & will shop around for mobile & bb.
I would not hold my breath on Orange just letting it be free for bb beyond my contract end date.
That will be two mobile contracts and a payg iPad sim they will be losing ( I guess ).

Hi All ( if anyone is still watching this thread that is ! ),
    Just got an email from our friends at EE ;

"As you already have EE broadband with us, we would like to offer you the chance to consolidate your bills when you switch your home phone over to EE and sign up to a term of 12 months.

On top of that we will still continue to cover the cost of your broadband – so all you pay for is your line rental and calls. "

Sorry but they will be waiting a long time for that to happen !

Just cancelled the 2nd contract with Orange/EE i dont have a short memory, one more to go next month, all three numbers going over to Ovivo.
  • Hi - if anyone is still looking at this thread ....
My Orange contract mobiles end on Jan 28th.
Apart from the letter in October last year ( see post a couple above ) I have heard no more from Orange.
My ' free for life ' broadband was extended by them until the end of my contract. As this is the end of this month I expected to be told the month before that I would need to move my line rental to Orange ( of which there is absolutely no chance ) or make other arrangements. I have heard nothing however ?
Are there any others out there in my situation ?

    Regards .....Nobby.

    Hi nobby,

I,ve just entered my last month as well. So it will soon be bye bye Orange forever.

Any problems from orange when you requested your mac?
  • Hi,
    I haven't requested my MAC.
As it stands I have not had any contact from them since the letter last Oct.
I have had my bill email from them for my broadband and have looked at my statement online and it shows no charges - as it always has - and the date range of the bill is up to Feb 10th.
I am wondering if they are just letting it go on for 'free' ?
Obviously it probably won't but I am going to keep my head down for a while and see what happens . The first sign of any charges though and me and my mobile contracts are gone !
