Well lol, having had a 'poke' around it appears fitz2012 has ? left the forum and his posts seem to have disappeared!
Not sure how many posts he had made and if that accounts for all the missing ones?
Still strange lol0 -
How strange, I would have assumed the posts remained, even if a poster had quit =O
Good spot!0 -
I guess it is possible he removed them himself? - who knows
Shame because they were informative and reasoned0 -
It could be Orange Personell/moles have been forced to remove all traces of their activities in case there is an investigation into Orange and the same goes for OFCOM. Possibility??? It would be possible that if an investigation took place all the very obvious "Moles" would be seen to be misleading/diverting the real issues of Mis-selling and very easily identified by MSE, especially if it was a public enquiry. As we all know Mis-selling is a criminal offence, is'nt that right ORANGE/EE?? The whole thing stinks of CORRUPTION ON A FAIRLY LARGE SCALE.
i FOR ONE FEEL VERY CONCERNED, ESPECIALLY FOR THE FUTURE. WE PAY OUR TAXES TO ORGANISATIONS THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO REGULATE FOR THE CONSUMER. THERE IS PERHAPS TOO MUCH IN THE WAY OF "CONFLICT OF INTEREST, BETWEEN ORANGE AND OFCOM". iT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BE IMPARTIAL FOR ONE AND GIVE OUT LICENCES TO THE OTHER WORTH MILLIONS WITHOUT SOME SORT OF COMPROMISE/CONFLICT ????. THIS SHOULD BE SERIOUSLY INVESTIGATED.:wave:0 -
As part of the FOI request OFCOM did share a letter from Orange to Ofcom dated 17th October, stating that anyone who rang up and confirmed that they had been offered Free broadband on renewal would keep it until the end of their mobile contract (as of 15th October.).
Here's a link to it.

Why then have Orange not honoured this in so many cases and given so many people the run around when they've rung up since this date?
Please post on here if your calls to Orange after the 17th October were honoured as per the letter or whether you were fobbed off and made to jump thru hoops to get your broadband extended.
Their behaviour has been disgusting and once again they have lied to Ofcom as to how they have handled this case.0 -
In reply to nickbirkin's post
I received a phone call from the "special" sales team on the 25th of Oct. First they repeatedly tried to convince me to move my landline to them. After flat refusals I finally got confirmation of free BB until the end of my mobile contract. A confirming E-mail arrived on the 1st of November, after my 2 phone calls to them and persistent E-mails to Exec. Office, Olaf Swantee and Bruce Morrison (copied in Ofcom as well).
So, just between the 15th Oct and 25th of October, I made 4 phone calls to Orange and 3 E-mails trying to get a satisfactory resolution with no luck at the time.0 -
I would just like to say that since I agreed my resolution with Enoughs Enough my broadband speed has fallen off a cliff and my mobile reception is more or less non existant, with days of texts not being received by my friends. I am concerned that since agreeing to keep my BB until end of my mobile contract EE have somehow managed to nobble my services or they are in a much bigger mess than we think and really aren't able to keep an acceptable level of service with original bt landlines. Either way its becoming such a problem that I may have to move BB provider anyway, in which case I will have to start jumping through more hoops to extract myself from the mis sold mobile contract. Has anyone else noticed a reduction in speed on their BB since agreeing a resolution or am I just getting paranoid now??0

I am sure if EE were targeting customers to reduce download speeds and mobile reception then I would be high up their list ....
My bb speed is the same & mobile reception still good ( I dont know how easy it would be for EE to `weaken` a chosen individuals mobile signal - surey it would either be on or off - on being whatever the reception is in that particular area ).
Time will tell for me though ....I did confirm when doing my `deal` that all would continue as per normal to that point.

Here is the result of my speed test. 0.38Mbps upload ,which is non existant, and 6.89 Mbps download which is good. I don't know if that upload figure is related to my computer or EE's diabolical signal!

I haven't read through this whole thread, I have been with orange for years n years and had the free broadband from the word go. I haven't yet received a letter from orange telling me about this, BUT I keep getting phone calls and googled the number to find its obv orange trying to get hold of me, I also had a text:
Hello, We're making changes to your Orange home broadband plan. Please call us urgently blah blah.....
So its inevitable... If I continue to ignore them what will happen?
I have had so much trouble since starting a new contract with orange its unbelievable. I am with them til april 2014what can I do?
