The reason they are trying to squeeze money out of us is due to the fact their share prices are'nt good!!! But with all the complaints it will only get worse. SELL YOUR SHARES NOW!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
THE PRICE HAS GONE FROM 12.49 WAY DOWN TO 8.60 EUROS IN 1 YEAR. PRETTY POOR PERFORMANCE ESPECIALLY SINCE THE ROLLOUT OF 4G AND THE LAUNCH OF eNOUGH'S eNOUGH!!!
Oooooopps that doesn't look good does it lol :rotfl:0 -
Do you think orange are aware that any form of hacking is illegal. Perhaps they need to get Andy Coulson on their board or Rebecca Brooks for some tips!:rotfl:0

Orange do know about this thread & how many views it is getting.
Wonder why they have not made a statement?
They are trying to fly under the radar - to make a statement would turn this rumble into an earthquake lol
Can you imagine what would happen if a statement were made at this stage - this way instead of reinstating free BB for all - it is only for those who complain................................at the moment........;)0 -

I cannot wait until march 2013 to give them my months notice, it will still leave one phone (wifes) on account that I can't get out until it ends, but it it will be no good retentions team speaking to me, once bitten twice shy.0 -

Well the saga continues for me. Having followed the advice on here from everyone, including Evas wonderful post, after getting a cut off date letter of the 7th November. Phoned customer services on numerous occasions, phoning the exec team on numerous occasions, ofcom contact, CAB contact I eventually got the email and confirmation stating that my BB would not be cut off on the 7th november but would continue to the end of my mobile contract in march 2014. This was concluded, or so I thought on the 2nd November.
Fast forward to the 8th November, and yes you guessed it, I had been cut off from BB. Frustrating to say the least!!!
Phoned 150, couldn't be bothered waiting in the long cue, so went through the sales line, which unsuprisingly had no waiting list. Spoke to a lovely woman who said 'yes you should have been cut off as your free BB ends on the 7th. Oh no I said, don't even continue that line of conversation, and I explained again the long process I had been through. I will just put you through to someone else she said. Member of the BB sales team spoke to me, and said oh yes there has been a mistake, and after 30 mins on the phone with him my BB is back on, and to top it all off he was able to re-send me the email that came from the outbound team. AHHHH, lets hope this is the last time i have to speak to anyone in Orange, but I doubt it somehow.0 -
This is Ofcom's response to the Freedom of Information request as to how many people have complained about this issue.
Freedom of Information: Right to know request
Thank you for your request for information regarding how many complaints Ofcom has received on Orange withdrawing free broadband. We received your request on 5 November 2012 and have considered it under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (‘the Act’). I am writing to advise you that Ofcom cannot disclose the information you requested.
Section 44 of the Act prevents organisations releasing information if another act has said that it shouldn’t, such an act is the Communications Act 2003. So that Ofcom can operate effectively it needs to be able to handle and share confidential correspondence with the businesses it regulates. If Ofcom was to make all this correspondence public it would undermine the confidence that regulated industries have that they can be frank and candid without the fear that these views will be published. Section 393 of the Communications Act anticipated this and prevents Ofcom releasing information if the information is about a particular business, unless it helps Ofcom to carry out its duties.
For further information on section 44 of the Act, please see: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000/36/section/44.
It is likely that other exemptions will apply.
With regard to your second and third requests under FOI (1-220381581 and 1-220978971), these are currently being considered and I will contact you again with our response.
Am forwarding to Information Commissioners Office for clarification.
So it appears that if we humble folk were to have access to information such as the number of complaints, this would inhibt Telecoms companies from telling the truth??????
Maybe I read it wrong???0 -
God, you couldn't make it up. It reads just like a Monty Python sketch. Am speechless.nickbirkin wrote: »This is Ofcom's response to the Freedom of Information request as to how many people have complained about this issue.

My loose interpretation is - 'Thank god there is another act that prevents us from disclosing this information - which would then mean we would actually have to regulate'!!!
Clearly there would be something to fear if it were made public then - worried the media would get hold of it?
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2010/282/note/made
Think on that basis we can anticipate a similar response to question 2 & 3 - guess they are on the hunt for an 'act' which will cover those too.
Hence their delayed reply
So on it goes!0 -

Nightmare!
Not only is there miscommunication between the BB and mobile division - now it is within the BB department too!
Congratulations Orange/EE/T-Mobile et al:T0
