Orange 'Free' Broadband

Yes, I plan to do just that. As it is back up again I am gathering more sigs ,now at 121, as I feel we need to get it up to at least 500 to make an impression...this may well happen quickly next week if it gets the exposure it has been promised....
I am getting a bit worried Orange has stopped sending out new withdrawal letters so new posters might start to get a bit scarce on here, hence we need a new platform...lots of new platforms! I hope for good news Monday for you on this.IdontlikeOrange wrote: »Would it be possible/helpful to send a copy of the petition to Parliament with, probably, some explanatory notes plus the reply from Ofcom sent to NickBirkin regarding FOI? Bump! don't forget all newbies sign our Petition, need to get it to
500 and FAST!

To anyone leaving Orange broadband, I wouldn't bank on your email address working indefinitely. My email was blocked and broadband turned off before the date on my letter. Its now back on pending resolution but its still a pain and only turned back on because i complained to Ofcom. I don't have too long to run on my contract so i am jumping ship now on the broadband front and working on the basic that it wont work.
My daughter who is in the same position as the rest of us has now had her email blocked / turned off / disconnected for the second time after she had reached a resolution with Orange and had it confirmed in writing and they are still doing it. Her broadband has gone off off as well today. Unfortunately for her she has almost 18 months still to run on her contract and cant afford to tell them to poke it. I wouldn't like to be the person in the executive office who gets her call on Monday.
I would suggest you get something like a gmail account and start moving things over before its too late. You really cant believe a word anyone at orange tells you.0 -
Is there anything else that we can do as forum members to help.
Even though I have got my resolution that I wanted (apart from the compensation), I dont want to just cut and run and leave the forum, as if others who had resolutions had done that I dont think I would have got this.
Thanks all.:)0 -
Please keep signing so we can get in front of the Parliament and the larger media. Don't let ORANGE/EE GET AWAY WITH IT!

I am on Plusnet now, but can still access my wanadoo account with the same login details, this is very odd! What are they playing at?0 -
Just a thought..
Maybe we could all leave a review on the review sites of the way orange/EE has treat everyone. That way anyone looking to join them in the future will be forewarned.
I think customer loyalty has gone & we have all just become numbers for accountants. I will definitely not be buying anything orange/EE ever again when my contracts run out. Everything Everywhere I don't think so, if we all go elsewhere, it will be Nothing Nowhere for EE.
Nothing Nowhere sounds like it would make a good website, at least you would know you were getting nothing in the first place.
It's time to stand & be counted too many people are just being rode over rough shot by companies like Orange/EE
I cannot beleive, like the majority of us from freeserve/wanadoo
days that we have been loyal & then kicked in the teeth.0 -
thanks Eva49 you've put some fight back into me, all I want is a quiet happy life, but now I am going to be a pain in the Ar*e to every business I pay for a service & don't get what I pay for.0
