Orange 'Free' Broadband

Update
Following my chat with MrRightSA it would appear that by calling
Tel: 08002944747
You should be able to get continuation of free BB for the remainder of your mobile contract - but only on the mis-sold aspect - however it would appear email confirmation will not be forthcoming - in which case
Suggest for completeness
1) Take the full name of the person agreeing this
2) Ask to speak to a supervisor and insist on email confirmation
3) Go back to Executive Office and tell them the name of the person authorizing and insist it is put in either email or letter
Fingers crossed!
Personally I would still register your complaint via Ofcom and Executive Office your case number is your proof for future reference0 -

INDEED! In any court proceedings, YOU will have to provide proof you followed EVERY official avenue of resolution available to you before commencing court proceedings.
Register Orange mis-selling mobile contrats with FREE broadband via Ofcom, Cisas & Orange's Executive Office inline with Ofcom's approved "Orange Complaints Code of Conduct"
Orange say email customer.services@orange.co.uk in their Complaints Code of Coduct (link below), this email was discontinued just before the FREE broadband removal so use executive.office@everythingeverywhere.com
Orange Complaints Code of Coduct PDF: http://www1.orange.co.uk/documents/about/Orange-complaints-code-20110118.pdf
1) Register mis-selling complaint at executive.office@everythingeverywhere.com as Complaints Code of Conduct states, informing them the email in the document has been removed from use & no other alternative email addresses are publically available to use but executive.office@everythingeverywhere.com
2a) Register mis-selling complaint with Ofcom, get "Ofcom complaint reference number" Call Orange Executive Office and register Ofcom complaint ref and nature of miselling complaint.
2b) Your second complaint is the breach of Ofcom enforced Orange Complaints of Code of Conduct refusal by Orange to abide by its own agreed Code with Ofcom. Why ? Orange have removed the email address in the said Complaints Code of Conduct, not updated the document with another email address & refuse to provide a alternative email address on calling Orange customer services.
Dont let Orange away with anything that is a breach of anything, enforce the regulatory approved procedures Orange is disobeying by informing Ofcom as to Orange's current refusal to follow the "Complaints Code of Conduct" practice ! REMEMBER obtain a second Ofcom complaints reference number for this complaint, DO NOT LET OFCOM TELL YOU IT IS BUNDLED UNDER ONE OFCOM REFERENCE NUMBER, these are two seperate issues, mis-selling & refusal to follow Ofcom "regulatory enforced" practice/s.
If Ofcom staff refuse any of the two complaints or tries to bundle them together, take staff name and email Ofcom complaints officer graham.howell@ofcom.org.uk
3) Register mis-selling, removal of broadband being a breach of T&C complaint against Orange with Cisas
http://www.cisas.org.uk/Makeanapplication-25_e.html
Now you are prepared for court. Bobs your uncle, fannys your granny, Orange is your red faced "telecommunications" (ahem) company.
This page of Ofcom enforced regulatory standards Orange has to abide by may be useful: http://www1.orange.co.uk/about/regulatory_affairs.html
PS) Ignore the Complaints Code of Conduct pdf document link on the page following on the immediate above link, it is out of date ( really Orange ? really ?) the PDF link posted higher above by me (first link after two email addresses from top of post) is the current one to follow
Also EVERYONE send complaints against Ofcom (to the governmental bosses) Minister of Communications MP Ed V http://www.parliament.uk/biographies/commons/edward-vaizey/35502 & his top dog The Rt Hon Maria Miller MP
Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport and Minister for Women and Equalities
http://www.parliament.uk/biographies/commons/maria-miller/31595
COPY IN YOUR OWN MP, request a meeting/phonecall to discuss further with them.
Tell Ofcom's bosses how Ofcom have handled the whole Orange saga in your experience & that you find as a telecommunications regulator for consumers they are not fit for purpose. WE ALONE ALL CAN CHANGE OFCOM for the better of us consumers, just be proactive thats all YOU have to do.
Report ALL your consumer experiences of a spineless telecommunications regulator since it replaced Oftel a decade ago, not just Orange, if Tories like anything its a good positive HEADLINE in the papers/media.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -

Everyone must get a reference number from OFCOM re: mis-selling of the Free broadband and call the executive office on:08000790134Insist you Speak to a Team Leader
Believe what you wish. You DO NOT need an Ofcom reference number. Not a single person today had one but tens of them (as in everyone who said miss sold) got it from my calls.
As for another post asking about how a manager didn't give up the goods; of course at times they are going to play hard to get. Be smart about it! "okay well if you can't help me about this miss sold BB then could I have your name to bring to Ofcoms attention as I do believe this is illegal". The supervisor will then put you on hold and then come back saying "okay I got it sorted now. You'll have it until the end of your mobile contract"
Navigating this forum on a phone is horrendous btw lol0 -

You won't even need to ask for a supervisor. As soon as you start to speak about miss selling, we NEED to get a supervisor or it's a disciplinary.0 -

No worries, the internet may have fanatics, but we are all good fanatics for cheap deals, GREAT customer care & throwing our Orange balls back into their courts, maybe slightly hitting the greenhouse....but its not criminal damage or damage litigation on our sidesSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... Would Orange be so stupid ? Well past history says the legal turds would be, I'd be firing them....
I said all along Orange LEGAL TURD, oopppsss sorry TEAM are hopeless, I had more chance & success with them than I've ever had chatting a hottie up in a bar, I remember the first reply to my legal letter, was like a bullying child wrote it with no defined legal answer back, just: NO YOU CANT.....shocking standard from any companies legal turds/representation.
Infact resolution through their stupidity it was like stealing candy from a baby. RESULT: PAC & leave penalty free, including £5 broadband contract no termination fees, I however being the more moral & educated legal minded party !!!!!! all over Orange...
I called retentions as advised I was to have my PAC issed with no termination from legal team had written to me and it was on my file notes, rententions agreed and when they said I'll just get it for you I said well what you offering me to stay for the new terms & conditions ? I take PAC now or a upgrade to a new 18 month term, I cant even remember the specifics what I got but it was any phone on any plan half price with loads bundles threw on, retentions got their commission & I got double even & a much much cheaper contract with £5 broadband intact under £30.
I felt so bad (NOT) I could see that child getting no more candy after I stole it & having to live off a diet of Orange's at my expense !
Aaahhh what SATISFACTION ! Must say customer services & exec office have always been poilte and accomodating over the years to as far a limit as they can through ORange errors, but when I am pushed to the limit & exec could not help I pushed the legal turds always polite and respectfully to their limit, because frankly they are just hopeless child bullies who crumble.
Poor exec team, they are a bunch of saints who take all the stress (and a few you hear it at times, they cant cope with the stress) when scripted in situations like this, chin up guys it will soon be over, for ALL of us
I've let so much out the bag, the exec staff know who I am on here !! Hi guys n gals, great to hear your all having to put up with another fine mess from the top table, NOT ! It wont be long now, breathe....
Is Angela is still exec office manager ? Spoke to alot of that team, only two out of many calls got stressed as they could not handle my competence to ask the right questions until I got the right answers.
Anyway punters & employees, its goodnight/morning from me, see you all at lunch/brunch tommorrow, may the sun shine through all your windows till thenSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... Nobby1963 - whats the 2gb usage ? Surely still unlimited with fair use, 2gb is nothing!
Hi Fitz,
As has been said - I think the 2gb usage has always been there but has never been enforced.
When I accepted my `deal` it was agreed that the continuation of bb was as it has been - unlimited & uncapped - I stressed this to the exec case manager and it was clear he understood and it is in my email of agreed `terms` of acceptance.
Cheers.....Nobby.SMA 4000TL Inverter, 17 REC 235PE Panels, South facing, roof angle \ `ish, 3995 watt system.Installed Nov 2011.0
