The free broadband is a secondary offer/contract tied to the mobile/first contract, they go hand in hand, to remove one is to remove the other as it is to the customers detriement.

SIMPLY one cannot exist without the other - the FREE broadband contract. No court would rule in Orange's favour.

Call Orange to calculate your termination cost of your mobile contract on the date free broadband is to cease, take this amount as your claim against Orange to small claims court.

As for Orange, well thier legal team kept throwing terms at me around the removal of included number prefixes which I kept throwing thier t&c back at them with unfair contract legislation regulations to and fro it went on & on until they ran out of options & agreed I was right & they were wrong.

O legal team are not the brightest buttons in the box, because they admitted such "free to leave" I recontracted for 18 months with a new handset & retention deal as they showed morality around the issue I gave them my continued business, others fought & left FREE, others stupidly toed with Orange disgruntled until contracts expired.

It seems Orange have learned nothing about that fiasco in implementing the closure of FREE broadband contracts tied to first/mobile contracts.

In a legal, customer & corporate sense, Orange should have announced FREE broadband will no longer be available when tie in 12/18/24 month contract terms complete & absorb the cost until then rather than damage the brand (AGAIN) & lose mobile customers.

Orange was THEE network until France Telecom bought it.

Get your mobile termination costs for the broadband cease date NOW, tell Orange on phone (tell them to write this on your notes), in writing* & also logged with Ofcom your intention of small claims court & this is why you are requesting the termination charge calculation on the same date as free bb ceases, or today if you intend to have no interuption to broadband transfered out of Orange, IMPORTANT -log your small claim on the same day the calculation is made.

*all legal notices by law MUST be sent (Royal Next Day 1PM delivery is cheaper than Recorded) to parent company Everything Everywhere Registered Office or it cannot be used in court, nor can the proof of delivery to another EE/Orange address as you are notifying them of your intended legal action - both to be useable in court must be to the companies "Registered Office" address linked below

Now get doing your small court claims !

Alternative Dispute Resolution does not need to be follwed, straight to court....

It was me who got Ofcom to change thier website saying ADR was the dispute route, I insisted Ofcom had to make clear that this was optional & disputes can go straight to court where a customer feels confident to do so & Ofcom were aiding and abieting thier telecom licence holder complaints to a ADR system that was not independent nor impartcial as the telco complained about was paying the ADR to make a decision ruling and as such as a regulator OFCOM had to openly state ADR was optional and show themselves to be fair, independent & impartcial stating legal action did not require ADR to be completed which it had mislead consumers by saying along the lines of "if your not happy with the ADR decision you may then seek legal advice" on thier website.

I copied my Ofcom email with my concerns of the lack of independance, transparency & misleading information to the relevent Minister - Ofcom soon changed thier website ;)
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

Yes, I did post my experience, but I got my words quoted back to me with a sarcastic response, so to be honest I havn't bothered posting again.

I have been thoroughly reading this thread and found a lot of very helpful responses from some people.

Yeah, funny how they're helpful when it's what you want to hear and sarcastic when it isn't.
