I've been Money Tipped!
Does anyone have any other number to contact Orange on regarding mis selling of contract. I posted many pages ago that I had been mis sold iphone upgrade last Oct, 12mths left to run, BB removed etc.

I have followed the procedure suggested by Eva49, other than CISAS (which in my opinion are as much use as a chocolate teapot, actually i should include OFCOM as well).

I have rung the exec office 5 times now (with OFCOM ref), I was told the special team will contact me within a week, then another week, then the last 3 times have been told within 48hours, but it never happens. I have asked to speak to someone senior, but just get told I am on a list and will be contacted soon depending on my cut off date (12th Nov).

So how many people have been contacted and reached a resolution?
Does anyone have an alternative contact number?

Thanks
• Hi i have been watching the forum almost 2 months now, i too have been with orange since the freeserve days with free broadband, every time i renew my contract i always ask about the free bb, and yes mine is still free, but i have not received a cut off date so far, no email no post, or phone call, what do you think should i phone and wake the pigs up and see what happens, or should i just wait and see ?.
Thanks.
• Amen to that idea.Go for it! I am trying to get the DM journalist to find out how many of us are affected/complained as it's hard to know if its just a couple of hundred of us or thousands. There really only seems to be a small nucleaus of us writing on this forum regularly so its hard to judge how large the silent majority (who are just viewing our posts but not actively joining in) is! I have sent a heartfelt email to Jeremy Vine asking him to get his old mate Martin Lewis to have a look at this issue, despite selling out this website, he must still feel honour bound to get involved! We have to keep pestering the press/westminster, Everybody, Everywhere!.

Well done, hope Jeremy Vine will help. Martin Lewis should given this website!:T

Have you been appointed a case manager? - if not ask for someone as a point of contact, preferably a manager (within exec) - then ONLY deal with that person, you then get continuity.

Did you back your verbal complaint up with a letter? - laying out your terms of resolution?

IE:
a) Free BB for remainder of mobile contract

b) Letter of deadlock - (this will not be issued as the case cannot be taken to arbitration)

c) MAC & PAC codes and penalty free release from your mobile contract

Hi pj68,

I know it`s frustrating but you just have to keep calling the Orange exec office. I lost count of the number of promised call backs that never happened.....
If I were you I would call them again, get the name of the person you are speaking to & explain the number of calls you made and the promises of callbacks that have not happened.
Tell them your Ofcom reference number and that Ofcom told you to call the exec office to complain about being mis-sold. Insist Orange give you a case reference number too.
Whenever you contact Orange by email quote the Ofcom & Orange reference numbers in the subject line, I sent them to both the Orange case manager ( first name . surname @everythingeverywhere.com ) and to executive.office@everythingeverywhere.com, CC the emails that you send to Orange over the issue to Ofcom & Olaf.Swantee@everythingeverywhere.com.
I dont think for one minute that he reads them but I am sure it all helps.

There is no magic solution to this, just email & call until they realise you are not going to just give up & go away.

Sorry but keep trying.

• I'm yet another customer who is disgusted with orange. Been with them in excess of 10 years. Received a letter about the cut off date contacted them numerous times and got no where. Been in contact with ofcom received reference number. Been in contact with executive office and lodged a complaint am awaiting a reply. Have also received the letter from BT regarding the broadband and the total shambles from orange.

Has anyone actually hada reply from the exec office ? Have orange agreed to honour the bb contact for the length of the mobile contract for anyone?

Hi, If I were you I would do nothing yet, none of us know how many Orange customers are affected by this but it is clear that there are new people joining here all the time. I guess they are sending out notices - or have been - to customers in `phases`.

I would love to say that by the time they are about to send notice to you they will have changed their minds and decided to just give notice of the `free for life bb coming to an end at the end of your cuurent mobile contract` but I would not bank on it !

It is a difficult one for you, but I am sure that Orange cannot & will not disconnect someones bb without giving them notice, I had 3 letters - all with different dates, texts & emails.

You may get differing advice, you make your own mind up but as I said I would sit tight.

Good Luck

Yes Wolf,
It appears I am not the only one who has had it confirmed free bb til the end of my current mobile contract - Jan 2014.
It was a massive hassle - 9 weeks, 40 + emails in the end & numerous phone calls.
All logged, kept & cc`d to all and sundry.
£250 compensation too in the end but would have been twice as happy to have no money and none of the aggro !

Good Luck

Nobby.

Have you followed Eva49`s guide ?

I am beginning to see a pattern forming and I suspect a new 'batch' of notifications have just been released.

We were told they would be going out in batches.

A lot of new posters just at the start of the process.

I know it is daunting, but try to take in as much as you can of what has been posted.

Then get proactive - ;)
