Trying for a Baby Part 8

I am so nervous as last time I started bleeding the day after I got my positive.
I don't have a regular cycle length (anything from 28 to 45 days) so have been holding off on testing and am CD34 today.
TMI alert - I had some old blood on Wed and Thurs this week and some af like pains so was sure af was about to start but it stopped and the blood was never red.
My DH was lying in bed this morning but knew I was testing so I took the Superdrug test through to him and said it looks like I am pregnant will I do a digi? He said yes, do you realise you will have spent about £20 this morning. I said if the test is right it will cost us a lot more than that over the coming years :rotfl:0 -
Crossed posts Abis - I was really down as I didn't know what was happening with the old blood etc and work has been more than pants this week.
The thing I did differently this month was use opk's to pinpoint ovulation rather than ewcm. Thank you to Codemonkey, Lilymay and QQuaver for saying that FMU is not as good for opk as without this I would never have tested on the Sunday afternoon and got my smiley face (by the Monday morning I was back to a circle). DH and I bd’d on the Sunday afternoon and the Monday morning and without the smiley face we wouldn’t have done as DH was still a bit under the weather from his biopsy.
This thread is amazing and words cannot say how much I appreciate all the support and knowledge that has been shared.
As I said before I am still really nervous and if it’s ok I am going to hang around here for a while until it feels a bit more real.
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend0 -
Congrats DefinitelyBlonde!! That's a super BFP if ever I saw one!! :j
Wishing you all the best for the coming months!
Becca, can you pop me down for 8 BFP's this month please - already got off to a good start!!! :cool:0 -
The old blood was probably an implantation bleed or a slight breakthrough bleed. If its bright red, lots of it or you have bad cramping, then you need to go to EPU. Small bits are totally normal tho - and period type pains are also normal due to ligaments stretching inside making room for the new baby :j:j:j
Its only natural to be nervous, especially after a loss. But have faith. You have a lickle baby inside you right now - thats magical and very special. :T
Sending lots of sticky vibes your way :A Its such a strong positive and 2-3 weeks is ace - am so pleased for you.
Haha, you sure will have more expensive days to go tho :rotfl: Exciting times tho :TMarried my lobster in July 2011
TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait

Congrats def blonde!! That is a BFP if ever I saw one! Usually we have to squint to see it, lol...congrats on holding off testing til cd34!
Im at 19dpo now (i think), CD33 and still no AF or BFP. I took a digital on thur night (17dpo) and the sad words 'not pregnant' appeared.
Whats going on? My cycle is always 26-29 days since Nov, except for this rogue 31 day cycle.
Thing is (tmi) when i do a check just a bit internally theres slight brownish on tissue paper but nothing when I wipe normally. 3rd day of this now...
So can you get remnants of implantation bleed at 17-19dpo? shouldnt it be gone by then?
Also no AF signs whatsoever - my body is brokenWe got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

can I guess at six rbis month?
AFM still on, really weird period so makes hypochondriac me wonder about a chemical, especially as I thought I had implantation bleeding. but then again I'm also paranoid that I'm not ovulating. in case the newbies haven't guessed yet, I'm a proper nightmare lol
bug hugs mogwai, fwiw I don't think you're broken, supposedly we have an annovulatory/long cycle every now again and it's completely normal x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6
