My DH was lying in bed this morning but knew I was testing so I took the Superdrug test through to him and said it looks like I am pregnant will I do a digi? He said yes, do you realise you will have spent about £20 this morning. I said if the test is right it will cost us a lot more than that over the coming years :rotfl:

    Thats hilarious! Congratulations!!

Congrats def blonde!! That is a BFP if ever I saw one! Usually we have to squint to see it, lol...congrats on holding off testing til cd34!

Im at 19dpo now (i think), CD33 and still no AF or BFP. I took a digital on thur night (17dpo) and the sad words 'not pregnant' appeared.

Whats going on? My cycle is always 26-29 days since Nov, except for this rogue 31 day cycle.

Thing is (tmi) when i do a check just a bit internally theres slight brownish on tissue paper but nothing when I wipe normally. 3rd day of this now...

So can you get remnants of implantation bleed at 17-19dpo? shouldnt it be gone by then?

Also no AF signs whatsoever - my body is broken :(

How do you work out your ovulation?

Perhaps you just ovulated later than you thought or like youve just posted - you didnt at all? Were you sure at the time that you had ov?
  • Congratulations DB!

Can I guess 8 for September please?

    Huge congrats DB. Wonderful news!!!
    Lemon, you too. Huge congratulations!!!!
My cbfm was still low this morning but I can see a second faint line on the stick and I've got ewcm. I love being confused!!!!
Ho hum, will just go jump on dh anyway! It's a tough life!
Personally, I didn't buy anything for ds until after the 12 week scan and didn't buy any big stuff until after 20 week scan. Each to their own I guess.

Can I guess 6 this month please? Ta.

  • I really must post more often. Many congratulations DB and Lemonmelon. Hope you have a happy and healthy nine months. Atton, I love the dress. Welcome mrsbunntobe, hope your stay here is a short one.
Feel a bit silly as I need to book a holiday for next June, but all I can think is if I happen to fall pregnant this month it would be dreadful timing! Should I just tempt fate?

I have a second line on every test I do :o...it will only be a peak when the 2nd line is as dark as the 1st line (or for some people the 1st line disappears). CBFM works a bit like OPK's. We always have LH in our system....its the surge the stick is trying to detect.

I think it's quite hard for those who have never had issues with TTC to comprehend that pregnancy might not happen/go wrong. It's like they know it happens...but don't for a second think it will happen to them. Of course I knew that infants died...did I ever think my little girl would be one of them? Did I hell. Until you have been in that situation you really don't know how you will feel or react and it's a little naive to say you will "deal with it" if it happens to you. Miscarriage...or worse stillbirth & neonatal deaths are crippling to say the very least. They change you as a person and give you a very very different perspective of life.

I didn't buy anything the entire way through my pregnancy with DS because I was scared. I actually got rid of a lot of stuff that I had bought for DD and of course it was all brand new. She never left the hospital. There I was, with my big pregnant belly, trying to sell a new pushchair & car seat etc etc etc to other pregnant women. I think they thought it had all fallen off the back of a lorry :o

    Anyway, rant over.

Just got back from the wedding and it was, erm, lovely. :p The poor grooms mother collapsed at the wedding breakfast because the room was so hot but other than that it was a nice day.

And to the important stuff. :T:T:T:T CONGRATULATIONS DB! :T:T:T:T:T Brilliant news and a real BFP!

Clarets - I would say book the holiday :)

Ohh, also, 5 BFP's for me this month please.

I didnt work out my ov this month or last with temping/opks like I normally do, pity as I could have done with the confirmation but im pretty sure now its an anovulatary cycle, as my flow is still really light and pinkish brown so its more of a breakthrough bleed than a period. Would be nice if real AF was like this - no PMS, no sore boobs!

At least my cycles not been lengthened too much - first time its happened to me, so much you learn about your body in the TTC journey!

tmi - I have very light flow on my pad but not sure whether to call CD1 yet as theres virtually nothing when I wipe..

I gave my cockatiel away a while ago to a friend and just heard that he now has a wife but they've not been able to have babies as of yet unlike the other cockatiel couples - he must have inherited his TTC difficulties from me! :rotfl::A
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

Current aims - to start building up savings

Those who are lucky enough to have never had such loss or complications shouldnt live their lives in fear of it happening though, should they ? The majority of people will never know (thankfully) and I think the poster in questions attitude of dealing with it when/if it happens is a healthy one.

I've been reading this thread since leaving and was really saddened by the mick taking of someone who was only enjoying the trying for a baby process in their own way, i thought this was a much more non judgemental supportive thread than that :(
