Lilymay - I ate an entire chocolate orange yesterday :o So I am keeping away from the choc today :rotfl: It didn't even help yesterday :o We don't have any real plans today. Its grand prix day, so DH will be watching that most the day and I need to do food shopping. I started clearing out DD's warbrobe/drawers yesterday as she has had a massive growth spurt over this year and most of her clothes have had to go. So at the moment I have them in piles of age ranges, cos I want to photograph them and sell them if pos. But I kind of half started the job and left it in a worse mess than it was when I started yesterday :o Kind of lacking a bit of motivation to be honest. Not sure where to find it tho

Making DS's invites sounds cool tho. I like doing all those sorts of things. We've been invited to DD's cousins birthday party tomorrow which I was pleased with. Its my ex's side of the family, but my ex won't take DD, so they have asked if I will take her once I get DD back tomorrow. I get on with everyone still, but don't want to step on ex/his w2b's toes so I don't have too much to do with them all these days. It was v nice to be invited tho. I was with my ex for 9 years, and I see the ex MIL as another mum as she was so lovely to me, especially when DD was born. I do miss them all :o

Amus, no counselling thru the hospital. The molar unit I am with has a nurse counsellor I can speak to on the phone, but not til tomorrow. I did start the process of counselling thru the GP but when the (slightly offensively written) letters arrived I was in a much better place so didn't persue it any further. I still have to have my urine tested every 2 weeks for the molar aspect and will have to continue that for 6 months (and in any future pregnancies as well) so thats kind of a reminder and sucks every other friday. But the bleeding is worse. I know I was very lucky before and didn't have much bleeding, and I bet what I have now is just classed as 'normal', but its not normal for me iyswim?

 2013 is going to be our lucky year
  • Sending you huge hugs abi. Can't offer any advice, apart from look after yourself and take it easy xx and choc orange must be one of your 5 a day being orange surely???

Lilymay that's a good quote too. The hangover has definitely eased now, thank god because everyone in my street seems to be mowing lawns, cutting hedges and generally creating noise!! I think I'm going to stop drinking now and tell everyone it's because I'm trying to lose weight (not a lie!), that way it should be less suspicious if/when we do conceive...
  • Hey everyone!

Becca, thanks for updating the list - can you put me at 2DPO please

You got a positive a few days ago though right? And your temp has gone up. Id stop with the opks then. I dont see why you need to keep doing them if FF has drawn the line in?

I think you need to get your OH to go to the doctors.

If he wont do it until after your wedding, then why not spend the next month looking forward to that, and going to uni? Otherwise you will spend what you should be a really exciting time for you worrying about yourself - when theres potentially nothing wrong at all.

Atton. I really think you should you stop using OPK's all together. You seem to have a lot of sex anyway, so it really doesn't make any difference whether or not you POAS. If your temps indicate ovulation, then go off that.

I agree with Claire. If you been trying for this long with no success I would ask your OH to go and get checked as it may be him that is the problem. Your cycles seem to be regular and show ovulation.

Why not enjoy the time before your wedding and the start of Uni without adding unnecessary stress.

  • Afternoon all, hope everyone is having a good Sunday :)

Just remind me, sperm is meant to live for about 3 days inside you isn't it? nd you are supposed to try and BD prior to ov rather than try and time it for the actual day you think you're going to ov?

As far as I am aware, yep. I think some people say it can be as long as 7 days? I don't know how long it takes spermies to swim to where they need to be, so it's best to have them all ready and waiting :)

Are you excited to be jumping back on the wagon?
