It's so hard to get men to go and speak to the Dr about things, particularly if they are about personal things. My OH found a lump in his testicle a few months back and terrified himself by googling and trying to self-diagnose. In the end afer much nagging he went to the Dr, and it turned out it was a cyst, and nothing to worry about.

Good news that he is open to a SA.

So opks stopped thank you for the advice gonna take it. Last time he had a sa it was low and was told they would have to go into the testies to get it out that way as they think his tubes may be damaged due to twisting his bollock as a young lad n not registering the pain for three weeks. They did an op saved the day so there is a way round it but the way the dr painted he woukd have to go to sleep they would cut him open and get it that way when in truth its a needle into the ball an you stay on the table till they get viable sperm and then go from there.

When we know the timetable for uni we can go to cov hospital and get the ball rolling so to speak lol but not literally though

Will try to relax but gettin a bit down by not graduating from this thread sometimes i feel i should give in and just be resolved to not being a mom but i want the same rights as every woman and 11 yrs of trying hurts

Wish we had got helper soon but a few more weeks wont hurt right

Is it bad that i keep lookin at friends and thinking bout asking them to help? I have a few male friends who would be happy to help but feel like im wring oh off when i know my seizures don't help!!

Gonna switch to decaff coffee tommorow need to stop topping my body up withit but cant use sugar to get me through so i use coffee need tellin off me thinks

Atton - so are you saying that the docs have said that basically theyre definitely going to have to retrive the sperm from you OH with a needle?

If so, then please stop beating yourself up every month! If there's a low chance of you getting pregnant through bding - then still keep trying because it only takes one but dont blame yourself. (Not that anyone should be 'blamed', its not one's fault) but just stop being so hard on yourself!

And yes youre right a few weeks wont make any difference. So enjoy the next few weeks, youre getting married!!! Whoopee!

Atton it sounds like you should go easy on yourself. From what uve just said about sperm retrieval it may well be that this is the reason uve not conieved as yet. Hopefully you can get the ball rolling at your hospital appt.

Big hugs abis. Im sure it has hit you harder than you imagined but i try and look at it as every af is one step closer. However i know i couldnt understand what your going through.

MV i had a similar thing but also a little tear. Which is now scar tissue and a whole other saga!

Hi Ladies

is it ok if I join you? I'm just about to take my last pill and my first folic acid tablet so I guess as of tomorrow other half and I are trying for our first baby. It feels really strange to be writing that after so many years of trying to prevent it!

I understand it may take a few months for things to sort themselves out after being on the pill so long (15 years) I have been on cileste for all that time and I wondered if anyone else had any experience of coming off that particular one?

I have been lurking for a while and have found some of what you have talked about really helpful, my bathroom cupboard is heaving with cheapie ovulation sticks. I never thought I would be this excited about peeing on something!

Hi percy! I didnt take celeste but I was on the combined pill for 10 years ish so similar story.

I think it took about 6 weeks for me to get a period.

i bought the cheapie ones from amazon but will use one or two of the digis when my cycles get settled. I was getting negatives on the ICs so will see what happens next month. Will remember that site for next time!

Atton, I think your hubby needs to get checked out so you know what you're dealing with. You seem to be getting all worked up thinking that you're the reason TTC is taking awhile, when it seems likely the issue lies with him. But even if that's the case, it seems hopeful that there's a way around it.

Feeling crampy with sore boobs here. This is usually a sign that AF is on her way, should be here today or tomorrow. Next month is the last in my CBFM trial, I think I'll have to buy one if I don't get a BFP before the end.

Just incase - did you make sure that you limited what you drank for 2 hours before? And and didnt do it any earlier than about 11am ( I think 3pm is peak time but of course most people are at work then!)? Im only asking because sometimes people dont read the instructions and then it doesnt work because of that. I dont mean that in a condescending way - just checking as it could be why!:)

I think if you bought them off amazon it sometimes links to that website anyway, depending on what you click on, but Ive always found its pretty good they usually take a few days to come though.
