Amy thank you lovely, it does give me hope and my cousin got pregnant just before she was to get Clomid so maybe it's a family trait lol funnily enough whilst I'm all worried about jinxing for getting pregnant, I'm convinced that if I do it will be a forever baby, just a gut feeling I have. And if it isn't well at least I know how I deal with it and hopefully will be able to deal with it better
Plus I've been doing the don't jinx yourself thing for eighteen months and no dice, I might as well try PMA, worked for abis
I think I slightly envy your job - you must see so much happiness and love, I mainly see cantankerous old farts lol
Tea I'd say 16 is closest but your chart has no rise, how long is your usual cycle? If it makes you feel better I Oved CD 54 lol
T2D I don't think you're crazy. I would have tested when I took the hcg. THAT'S crazy lolLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Teaandcake - your opk on CD 16 am looks like the "most positive" result I ever get (even when I have tested twice a day), I never know whether they're really positive or not. I've given up bothering with them and if I'm not pregnant soon I am definitely forking out for a CBFM.
As TeamLowe says, you don't have a temp rise so it doesn't look like you have actually ovulated yet, although saying that I've had a similar opk to you on CD16 or 17 and then gone on to ovulate on CD19 so perhaps it's on the way.
Amy, thank you for your lovely post!0 -
Teacake cd 16 does look positive from your photo. But you havent had a temp rise so I would keep doing the opks.
All I can guess is that you got the lh surge but then it didnt happen .
Do you have pcos? I dont mean that in an offensive way its just that Ive read if you have pcos you can get false positives - and on the home health website you can order lower sensitivity ones to help rule this out.
When I do opks they are normally blank for a few days, then a couple of faint lines like the ones you have got on most days then a really strong positive line, and then it fades again back to faint. So its very easy to see a positive there is no guessing at all. So thats why Im wondering if perhaps you should try the lower sensitivity ones if youre having a hard time reading them - or youre getting a positive but no temp rise.0 -
Wow, amazing post Amy! I love a good epic one! :T What a lovely job you must have... do they let strangers into the wards for cuddles with the newborns?! Promise I won't steal any!
I'm another one drooling over Tink's cakes! Please can I come to your tea party?!
It doesn't sound like you're insane T2D, more like you're going though an awful lot right now and it's all playing tricks with you! One day soon you'll get a real BFPOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

wow. Epic post there Amy!
Can I also come and live with you tink? Although judging by your yummy baking I'd be the size of a house.
time2deal I'd probably be the same. You are so brave and have to deal with so much and I am really rooting (in the non-Australian sense) for you to get through this, return to health and get your baby. You're inspirational.
Afm I need some help ladies. Supposed to be going to the pub after work for a leaving thing for someone but it's just my very small team. Thing is, I need to get home and convince DH to BD which is never easy at the best of times. I need a convincing excuse to either get out of it or escape early. I've already said I have no plans.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

I did that with our works christmas dinner/drinks. Wanted to leave so just claimed that we also have friends round the house we haven't seen in ages and that could only make it today, worked fine.
Still high temps and no AF. So this might be a more normal (for me) cycle again.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Amy are you a midwife or a nurse who works in maternity? Im interested to know what a maternity support worker is, sounds really interesting!
Code - if you cant get out of it can you just bd when you get home? If you think that will be too late, you could feign feeling ill in the afternoon and say youve got a stomach upset or something? Or say a relative has a problem and theyre coming round or something?0 -
TCD - I can't help with opks but your chart doesn't look like you have ovulated yet. Keep bding just in case.
afm. nothing to report, still no ov.0
