  • Hopelass- do you mind if I ask you how AC worked for you? My cycles vary from 30- 42+ days (have PCOS and endo). Have ordered AC- how much did you take? What did they do for your cycles?

Anyone else with any experience of AC? :)

Thanks for everyone's comments. He's too smart sometimes and can't let his mind switch off from work. Guess we will be going back to ntnp for a while. I guess if it happens it happens, but honestly, I think that of it was up to him, DH would be quite happy never having sex. He very rarely ever is in the mood without a bit of prodding. I'm downing the chocolates he bought me for my birthday earlier this week.

I initially had problems with my OH in that he felt a bit like he was being used by me at my 'fertile' (HA) times as I didn't instigate BD any other times- Now it's less BD more regular D... :) Don't know if that'll help?

Hello there - I don't post much, but regularly lurk.
I have quick question about ovulation prediction kits I'm hoping someone can help with...

I've bought a pack where you look for a line darker than the "control" line. I've tested a few days and had no line (which apparently means negative), then had a strong line, but not as dark as the control line (which apparently also means negative), then back to very light or no line. So, if you follow the instructions, ovulation hasn't happened, but that doesn't explain the difference in line / lack of it.

    Any thoughts?

    TIA

    Hi teaandcakeordeath!

I took it from CD1 - positive opk (I read somewhere that you shouldn't take it after ov) and quite quickly I got into a 28/29 day cycle with positive opk around CD14 or 15.

I took as directed about 20 drops in a little water first thing in the morning and last thing at night before bed; got a couple of bad headaches and it tastes horrible but I think it's worth it! I was on the pill for 15 years so my cycle was all over the place initially and wasn't sure I was oving - hope it works for you :)

    Hi Betty

I use them too. I have never had a line stronger than the control I've had it about the same and slightly lighter but reading on other forums even a slightly lighter line on these sticks will give a smiley on a digi if that makes sense?

What I have done this month is poas on cd10 then when I got a faint line bd, over the next two days I got stronger lines and so bd'd again both nights and then on the fourth day running got a faint line again so bd'd for luck. Not sure if this was enough - will have to wait until next week to find out!!

Thanks! I was wondering at what point the ovulation window would close :)
