Is there any reason why my DH can't 'finish' when we bd? Twice in the past two weeks, one of us being tonight. It's really bothering both of us. DH has a high stress job, and I've told him that if we don't get a positive this cycle we are going to stop trying until he figures out how to handle his stress better. This has made me feel so worthless and I feel like he doesn't want me. He assures me that it isn't me, that it's him, but I can't help but feel bad because of it. I just feel like giving up. :(

Can't believe we're beginning a new month already!

fannyanna as I said above I don't do them until after work and from what I remember reading doing them first thing in the morning isn't advisable anyway - it has always worked for me at that time. I think you are supposed to do it at the same time each day, not drink too much in the 4 hours beforehand and wait 10-20 mins for the sample to come down to room temp (which I don't do cos I'm too impatient!!)

Hugs Mrs_T_M I can only think it might be caused by stress which is a bit unhelpful because you already seem to have identified that...sorry I can't offer any advice :(

Awww Mrs_T_M. I've been there and I know it's hard not to take it personally. But it's true that it probably has nothing to do with you. Stress is a big factor. And not meaning to sound mean but you've probably just stressed him out even more about it lol.

It's a bit of a viscious circle. He's stressed so has problems, that in turn makes him even more stressed, that just compounds the situation....

Maybe you should try a couple of BD sessions where it's just for fun/romance and not for TTC. Maybe even make it a rule where he's not allowed to reach that point.

But please, please don't think it's because of you x

Hugs Mrs TM. It does sound like stress, I'm sure it's not you at all but that must be very difficult for both of you :(

Vesper, just catching up on the last couple of day's posts. What a horrible time you are having, I can't imagine how you are coping with it all. I very much hope it all works out.

Becca, I hope you're feeling better.

Tink, I want to invite myself to tea at your house :rotfl: that cake looks amazing! Not good for my diet, but neither were the two caramel waffles I had earlier... Been to the gym today for a spin class though, plus squash yesterday and a quick run at lunchtime of about 2 miles so not too bad.

Fannyanna, your doctor sounds so sympathtic and helpful, what a pity they're not all like that.

Hello and welcome to the new people, hope your stay is short!

For some reason this cycle I keep forgetting to take my AC and maca, although I have some spare folic acid in my bag in case I forget so at least I've been taking that.

I'm off to the doctor tomorrow evening to try and get some help for my horrible oeriods, I really hope he's sympathetic and helpful and doesn't trot out the old "it'll be better when you have a baby" line I used to get when I was younger.

Can I predict 5 bfps for February please.

squ1rrel - you have been missed! I was wondering how you were just the other day, nice to have you back xx

Ah thanks Becca, have been thinking about all you guys and thought I must pop back and say hello! Have missed the forum!
Although work has been busy I am absolutely loving it and its good because its actually taking my mind of TTC so I am not obsessing about it all the time!!
Hopefully when things are a bit quieter I'll be on here more often - feel quite selfish at the moment, as I'm not really having much chance to read back - I just post and go! - but I do wish hugs and good wishes to everyone and hope everyone is okay!! :):)

    Pop back soon xxxxxx

PS so I dont forget over the next couple of days, I predict 6 BFPs for February!!!

Thanks for everyone's comments. He's too smart sometimes and can't let his mind switch off from work. Guess we will be going back to ntnp for a while. I guess if it happens it happens, but honestly, I think that of it was up to him, DH would be quite happy never having sex. He very rarely ever is in the mood without a bit of prodding. I'm downing the chocolates he bought me for my birthday earlier this week.
