Oooh abis, hope you get confirmation it's not line eye soon :)

Congratulations to the other bfps, welcome to the newbies

Tea & cake, I can understand your frustration with the pill masking issues like pcos & endometriosis - I have both too. However, I do console myself with the fact that I was on the pill for the time I was, because actually it's one of the best courses of action for keeping these conditions in check. The way I see it is that if I hadn't been on the pill, how much more severe would my moderate case of endometriosis be now? How much more cysts and scarring would my ovaries have had by now? How much more damaged would my tubes have been?

What concerns me more than having been on it in the first place, is that if I ever do get pregnant, I'll have to go back on the pill afterwards (between pg & trying again) - and I won't just be able to ntnp - to protect my insides

claire i was told by my politics teacher in college that sugar free polos effect the effectiveness of the pill. that and cream of tomato soup lowers sperm count. she was clearly a tiny bit mental but inspired my degree subject and career so can't whine too much lol

Back on hippy, supplement duty again.

Was talking to one of my colleagues who has just come back from maternity leave about my troubles trying to lose weight and she was telling me that she was ttc for years but had PCOS and wasn't ovulating. She tried metformin but that made her ill and had no success with clomid. Then she took something called d-chiro insatol (I had her write it down for me) which is in buckwheat flour and carob and you can also buy supplements. This made her ovulate and 2 months later she got her BFP.

Maybe worth a Google for the PCOS ladies.

Is the sugar free polos thing that they have a laxative effect if you eat too many?

So this month he's all like yay more bding! I said ill see how excited you sound in a couple of weeks ha ha!

Eek eek, 2 x TLPs this morning. Now doubting myself n thinking they might be evaps. Am 11 dpo which is when I got my TLP last time. It doesn't show up as well on a pic in real life and hubby is at work so noone to confirm if I am bonkers or not.. Will do another test tomorrow and a digi if there is still a line.

    :j:j:j

    woooooooooooooop!

    Digi! Digi! Digi!

AFM - less miserable today, feet still sore, getting work done which is good as been worrying about stuff so need to just actually do it then I won;t worry about it!

Did OPK last night got faint line, so will keep doing till I get two dark lines. That's right isn;t it? I do love POAS! :rotfl:OH quite keen on the science of it although I'm now concerned about getting PG while my feet are still so sore and I can;t walk very well.

But if I leave it I'll have to wait a few months to avoid the winter baby scenario - I really do get so down in Dec/Jan that I must avoid having a newborn in those months or I'll end up with PND, I'm sure of it.

So it's this month or leave it a couple of cycles. No pressure! :rotfl:

I just feel so stupid that I thought I was not pregnant, so didn't take care of myself. Kicking myself now. It was a benzodiazepine - I've read on the net that they are dangerous in pregnancy but that's probably when it's a proper foetus. Apparantly anything they are exposed to in the first two weeks after conception has an all or nothing effect - either kills the embryo straight away or if it makes it then it doesn't affect it at a later stage. Well I'm still pg so let's hope the latter.

Learn from my mistake girls - it's never over until AF has truly arrived!

Yes that's a different ingredient to the one I've read about.

Anyway don't worry like you said it's ok still so should be fine. Good luck for the next 9 months!

That's right keep peeing on the sticks skint!

Well, this is the 4th time I am trying to send a message! I don't think the computer agrees with my POAS addiction :p:rotfl:

I finish work in a few mins. I bought some first response on teamlowe's advice - so fingers crossed. They're BOGOF at superdrug btw :money: Single packs are £7.79 I think and pack of 2 are £10.49 (so that gives you 4 tests for that price) x
