Trying for a Baby Part 8

I'll defo get a scan at around 7 weeks TL to hopefully rule out a molar pregnancy. Theres still a 99% chance of me being ok - only 1% have a second molar pregnancy. I need to speak to the molar clinic anyway to check I have been taken off the list for testing properly - so I will have a chat with them about it then. I might have to have a series of blood tests to make sure my HCG levels are rising correctly, as with a molar pregnancy is rises far too much which is what makes you so sickly.
Am expecting my progesterone tests back tomorrow so I guess I will make an appt with the doctor to start the referral process for testing/extra scan etc as normally midwives don't see you til 10 weeks round here. The molar clinic said they will send a referral if I am having any bother with the GP tho.
For those who might want to know if I did anything different:
I did take soy this month (first time) - no idea if this had an effect, but I know some people swear by it. I've lost 7lbs and been eating foods cooked from scratch with loads of fruit n veg. I've been exercising as well. I temp and do OPKs as usual and we DTD on ov day and the 2 days prior which is pretty much unheard of for us. I didn't take the horrid doctors advice and "stop trying" cos thats just stoopid!! I take pregnacare preconception but have done that for months anyways. Oh and I kept imagining Barry White playing in my womb "lets get it on" :rotfl: I'm sure that got the sperm n eggs in the mood for getting jiggy with it :rotfl:Married my lobster in July 2011

Woo hoo Abis Congrats- another one, can't believe it! How many days til AF due now?
I like the FRER tests, they are quite nice to keep as souvenirs and keep looking at (I still have my son's from 2.5 years ago, can't bear to throw it away!!! )
If you do it tomorrow with first morning pee it may be stronger.
AFM I am beginning to realise what a pain having diabetes is when you're pregnant, I just had a modest lunch but got a high reading afterwards, usually that's not so bad but now it's just fuelling my miscarriage worry fears. At least I am seeing the consultant next week. Not sure whether to tell my boss at this early stage, if my blood sugars are yo yo ing up and down, as they will be, then may not be a bad idea as it'll probably affect my ability to work. Then again I don't wanna make a big fuss before I'm out of the woods IYKWIM
I'm 11DPO with a luteal phase of 14-15 days (has been both before) so by the weekend hopefully I will be beyond that point. It is very comforting for me to have gotten to this stage tho as I was thinking things weren't working correctly with my long/irregular cycles etc.
I know its hard - but you need to try and put thoughts of miscarriage out of your head as much as possible. I don't want to look back on my pregnancy - however long or short it may be - and have spent the entire time worried or dreading the next stages. I would love to enjoy as much as possible of it as DH says this is our last (he's wrong btw - he just doesn't realise it yet :rotfl:). I had a mmc / partial molar pregnancy in May - so I know how hard it is - but a mc is awful no matter what. It doesn't make it any easier thinking it will/might happen. It just spoils the enjoyment of actually being pregnant. Hope that makes sense. Speak to your GP if you can't stop thinking about it as they may be able to help / reassure you. xxMarried my lobster in July 2011

No, I love it. What a brilliant idea. Sadly my brain has mutated it to weird cartoon ovaries singing to my eggs and DH's sperm. Maybe start off with a round of row row row your boat to get the swimmers moving hehe.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
