I know its hard - but you need to try and put thoughts of miscarriage out of your head as much as possible. I don't want to look back on my pregnancy - however long or short it may be - and have spent the entire time worried or dreading the next stages. I would love to enjoy as much as possible of it as DH says this is our last (he's wrong btw - he just doesn't realise it yet :rotfl:). I had a mmc / partial molar pregnancy in May - so I know how hard it is - but a mc is awful no matter what. It doesn't make it any easier thinking it will/might happen. It just spoils the enjoyment of actually being pregnant. Hope that makes sense. Speak to your GP if you can't stop thinking about it as they may be able to help / reassure you. xx

Thanks. I know what you mean - it won't make a damn bit of difference if I worry now or not. I did think something positive earlier. I have two friends who both miscarried last year. One of them gave birth to a lovely girl a few weeks ago and one is about to give birth in the next few weeks. For them, it must have been awful at the time but do you think they care now? No, because they got there in the end! I'm sure my friend is quite in love with her new baby and has put all thoughts of what went before completely out of her mind! So what I'm saying is, should it happen it's not the end of the world (even if it may feel that way at the time), it just means a little longer wait.

(I'm not the kind of person for whom saying 'it just won't happen' will work - can you tell?)

I was actually prescribed sleeping tablets when I was pregnant. AFAIK benzos are OK unless you take them towards the end of the pregnancy in which case your baby might get too used to them and be born a bit rattly. What particular type was it?

Tinks, I'm a bit of a freaky stalker type (not too bad, promise!) and you're one of the ones I keep an eye on. I know how much you've been hurting recently and I really do feel for you. One mc is crap, multiple is just so utterly shyt and so damn unfair. I really wish I could wave some sort of magic wand and give you that one thing you really want.

I know it probably doesn't help and I hope I don't stick my foot in it saying this but you've already carried 2 lovely daughters to term so your body is most definitely working - you've just been bloody unlucky. I'm really rooting for you and I know a lot of others are too and I have every belief that you will get there

Congrats Abis

CD 20 for me today. Been using OPKs for the last few days, watching the line get darker. It is way darker today than yesterday so hoping that i'll ovulate a little earlier this month.
