Trying for a Baby Part 8

Anyway it made me feel a little differently about the fact that I've not got pregnant straight away, there is obviously a biological reason for this inefficiency which we would have been grateful for in times of old!
LOL, excellent point!
I have to get my scan (and blood test) results too, keep putting off calling just in case it's not great news!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
That was an interesting post an9i77. My grandma was the youngest of a family of 13 children who weren't all looked after properly, especially the youngest ones who were definetly seen as a burden by the eldest children who ended up having to look after them while the parents worked. She always said that the washing machine and the pill, not politicians, were what gave women the chance to enjoy their human rights !
Bridetobe2012 - did you test in the end ?0 -
Good luck Birdie hope all is well. I've got my day 21 test tomorrow, I'm hopeful the clomid has worked this month (as in, ovulated - whether it's worked as in made a baby is not something I'm getting my hopes up for) if not I will ask for a referrral to FS.
It was refreshing to see an IVF couple on One Born last night rather than the usual accidental pregnancies (although there was one of those too). Interestingly, after two failed IVFs they conceived naturally. I quite often hear of people who try for ages, then seek help and then find out they are preg naturally - again it seems that waiting a long time and just being patient is a big ingredient in getting pregnant.
Difficult for me as I am the world's most impatient person! Waiting two months to get a new job last year was hard enough (funnily enough this seems to feel quite similar!)0 -

Good point about the olden days and having loads of babies. I found a section about "contraception" in an 1910 "The housewife as the family doctor" book which stated to erect a screen between the bed of husband and wife and to dress coyly at night reduce temptation :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250

It's possible, but unlikely. I'm listing my temps below if anyone would like to see them. Had a rise starting on CD16, a dip on CD21 of .5F (~.3C), and it dropped the same difference on CD27.
I'll also post a link to my chart on FF if someone can please look at it and help me decipher it/tell me if it looks decent. I'm confused. Thought I knew what I was doing, but now I'm not so sure.
I had w cm on CD12-CD14, and ew cm on CD15.
Going on temps, I (and FF) think I ov'd on CD 15.

I can't get DH to help read the sticks unless they are really obvious, he's colourblind and cannot see the red!
Yesterday was a very bad day emotionally for me, mood swings all over the place. I'm much better today. I don't usually get mood swings at all, a little grumpy when AF starts, but not happy one moment, then bawling the next.0 -
Mrs T M - You look like you've interpreted your chart correctly to me. Ovulation on CD15 with a 14/15 day LP. That's a really nice biphasic chart and an almost textbook cycle. I wish my charts looked like that!
It does however look like AF will be arriving any time14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130
