Just a bit of fun in addition to our proper list
OH is going to be doing the home test in a few days. We should still be able to bd once, maybe twice that could count so we shouldn't be out but it is unlikely. There again it only takes one go so it could happen, I can dream.
That poem is beautiful. Will try and remember it when I get down about everything. All to easy to feel down when a close family member of OH has a newborn that wasn't planned for and it feels like we are going nowhere. Really wanted to be pg before the baby came along but no such luck. I think me being so down about it all is why OH is so set on doing the test sooner rather than later.
Good luck to those testing soon. Sorry to those who the witch has got, she should be made illegal for those ttc.

I seem to remember a bit of a peak in BFPs around early March last year (from all those Valentine bunk-ups) I also remember there being a fair few more in January too because of festive shenanigans. Sadly it wasn't repeated this year but not to worry... a BFP at any time of the year is fabulous! I'm not temping Abis. Thanks for the explanation about the peak (and you too Becca), I guess I'll go down as 0DPO.
Big hugs for the BFN Lara, sucks but it isn't over yet.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

But boo no where near for either.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0

Well I'm not currently having a great time of it. Managed to pick up some sort of sickness bug last week so had to have a few days off work, which I felt very guilty about. I'd been 48 hours free of symptoms last night so turned up to my night shift and all was going well until around 5:30 am when I started feeling really sick. I was already a little strained because my co-workers had decided to quiz me about when I was going to have babies all night, making me even more broody... a situation not helped by me pretty much working 1:1 with a particularly cute but sickly newborn for lots of the night.
Anyways, I did a tiny little sick, decided I was going to take my break and then returned to work. Around 6am I did an enormous vomit (fortunately into a sick bowl, but unfortunately witnessed by all my colleagues), but afterwards felt immediately better. They asked me if I wanted to go home, but I wanted to stay as it was less than 2 hours to the end of the shift and if I went home this would be counted as a seperate occasion of illness, rather than a continuation of the previous symptoms. I felt better so when a patient pressed her buzzer I went to respond, but then fainted on the way back up the corridor and had to be helped into the office.
Rang DH to ask him to pick me up (he eventually answered and agreed) so waited in the office for him. Whilst sat there I could hear my colleagues outside speculating that I was pregnant (despite at least one of them knowing I'd been having problems and had an ultrasound for PCOS last week) and joking about going to fetch a test from the pharmacyThe whole thing was horribly embarrassing and now I feel like they're going to be talking about me - I'm relatively new to this ward so don't know anyone particularly well
I've been at home all day today by myself, continuously being sick, feeling lightheaded, running to the loo, every joint in my body aches and I just can't get to sleep. My parents are in London atm (although Mum offered to come back bless her) and DH is being absolutely no use. He's arrived home from work, says he *may* go to the shop for me later and has announced that he's off to his friend's houseI can't imagine being so selfish if he wasn't feeling well - I'm not asking for much, I just want some voltarol for my joint pains (can't keep oral painkillers down) and jelly (think I might have a hypo if I don't get some sugar in me, but am really struggling eating and drinking). He's acting as though I'm being a right pain, but there's an Asda at the top of the street and he's prepared to drive to the other side of the city to see his friend
In short, I'm a miseryguts today0 -
*hugs* Amy, hope you feel better soon. Running around looking after every else. People forget your not superhuman and have feelings too.0
