    Congrats to Mr Lowe! :T

Could do with Mr Jovie getting a new job too, he's extremely bored and frustrated where he is now. Not had much luck so far though!

I got my first crosshairs on FF today which matched the OV date that I thought which is good! I got all excited and showed my OH, he was actually interested and starting choosing the dates we should try and BD next month if we don't get a BFP this time round :) I'm so pleased that he's really getting on board, he wants a baby just as much as me but hasnt wanted to get too bogged down with the details. After a few months of BFNs he seems to be realising that we both need to put a lot of effort in, I'm really proud of him :p

    Congratulations Welsh!!!!!

Sorry been really busy this week so haven't had time to catch up on here, spent the last 2 days solid sending out parcels for the new business so quite chuffed, 19 parcels gone out so not bad. And some more to go this week, then a gap until it all starts again at the weekend.

Can't beiieve I'm only 10dpo, this 2ww is soooooo slow.

Somehow managed to book 3 holidays within 24 hours this weekend. I have only been on one holiday in years, and that was with my friends. Never been on a proper holiday with my husband. Now we are doing 2 of the Sun holidays with our friends, and have booked a long weekend away with them as well for the summer.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

    Hi all

Can I join your thread? I have been a bit of a lurker as wanted to wait until this month was out...but now want to ask some advice.
I stopped taking the pill in Dec and started ttc immediately, working with the assumption of a normal 28 day cycle. I am now on CD35 and no AF, did a test and got a BFN. Just wondered if anyone else had been on the pill before and how long it took to get your periods back into a regular cycle.

Congrats to those with good news - baby or otherwise. Sorry to those who are out

    Hello,
Just to say I've come off the pill three times. First at the end of a relationship I decided to take a break from the pill and it was 7 weeks after withdrawal bleed before I got a period. Then cycles were pretty regular 28 days. They had been 24 days before i went on pill. Then after 8 years back on pill and in relationship with my now husband we decided to ttc. That time it took 5 weeks before getting period. 5 weeks after that, no period so took a test. Negative. Week after that still no period. I was panicking thinking something was wrong and we'd left ttc til too late but it turned out i was pregnant and first test hadn't picked it up.
So don't worry too much if your cycles take a while to get going- they will! Good Luck to you and everyone else :)
btw I am now on day 13 from start of withdrawl bleed so will have to wait and see what my cycles are like this time.

Not going to call it yet, but temp dip and spotting this morning. I'm probably out for this month.

How do you ladies do it? Keep from giving up I mean? All of you are super women. It's only our 4th month ttc, 2nd with temping, and I feel like I'm depressed. :(

  • Mrs T M - i know what you mean, i get like that every time AF shows her ugly witchy face. But then around CD3/4 i start to get optimistic about a new cycle, new egg, new chance so there's always a silver lining :)

You're not out until the witch appears Mrs TM! :) We all keep going because there's nothing else we can do but wait for our babies to join us. I've firmly settled on the idea that babies come when they're ready, not the other way around so I try not to get too depressed about it all- generally speaking at least! There's always a couple of days a month when I get really blue. :o

Another peak on my CBFM this morning. :) Going to try to talk OH into BD tonight, not sure if it'll happen though. :o No lunchtime sneaky session possible today as I'm playing badminton. :)

Exciting stuff about the holidays Vesper! We need to sort our big holiday at some point but of course we're waiting for me to get PG before booking anything :o

Welcome Tia  I had a really long wait for my first AF after stopping the pill too. :o Just keep trying until she arrives, you never know! :)
