Welsh - Huge congrats to you!!!! Here's to a completely uneventful 9 months!!

I'm feeling rubbish at the moment - heartburn (not unusual for me, I must really wolf down my food!!), headaches and a really bad tummy. Need some TLC from DH and a really early night!

    No doubt that goes on.

Also, couples who have been having sex without protection or using unreliable prevention methods for years, who are suddenly suprised when they 'accidently' fall pregnant.

If you're having sex without protection you are trying for a baby, so don't feign suprise if a pregnancy occurs!!

My friend and his new girlfriend were having lots of new couple sex and 'forgetting' the condoms, quel suprise she fell pregnant six weeks later.

Still jars for those of us who have been trying for months, but I guess a lot of these couples using unreliable contraception have many months where they don't get pregnant, only they don't notice it as they are not trying, so when they do it looks like they have just got pregnant in the blink of an eye.

Off topic, but did anyone see the programme last night about a woman who had 16 kids? She'd started when she was 14 and just kept going. Said she will have more as well. Her littlest one was only 5 months old and she was already three months pregnant!

I haven't seen the latest programmes about that family, but seen them in the past. I actually think it's really nice that considering she had her first at 14 and were just kids when they got together they've stuck with each other all these years, and clearly still happy or they wouldn't be popping a kid out every year! ;) They seem like a really happy family. :) I'd be happy with just 2 though!!!

my first pregnancy was a suprise but if you asked me hand on heart if in the preceding year we'd used a condom every time the answer would be no, would be more like 75%. so not really that suprising but just wasn't trying trying lol

dont know what's going on with body, couple of days of lots of ewcm but now it's gone a bit cloudy :s ovaries are just teasing me i reckons lol

in other news DH has just been offered a new job which is absolutely perfect for him, is in our home town so no massive commute for him any more and therefore no need for two cars AND the resulting payrise means that if i was to get pregnant then i could afford to stay at home with a comfortable margin :):):):) and in the meantime it'll really help our deposit savings :)
couldn't be more pleased for him if i tried. he had the interview last night and when he was telling me about it he was so excited and positive it honestly sounded more like a first date! hope he has a long and happy relationship with them :) x x

That sounds really promising, I often think that interviews are a bit like a date, you need a certain amount of chemistry and a really good feeling about working for the company, that's certainly the way it's always worked with me. All you need now is your BPF and you'll be sorted!

BFN for me today. I am out this month, am CD30 so if I was, it would have shown.

    Considering using OPKs next cycle.

Yeah, I wonder if the fact that I've had loads of CM (due to being full of cold) has kind of confused my body into early OV? If that is the case I'm so pleased I started using my CBFM this month so I found out! :) OH is on standby for lunchtime BD! :D

    Yay!!

Team lowe congrats on your DH new job!

Skint I would! I was shocked this month that I was ovulating when I was, I did get ewcm a couple of days before but that's not always a reliable indicator for me as its come up to 6 days before, plus the month I got pregnant we did bd because I'd had ewcm but then again I did an opk, was shocked I was ovulating so early & did an extra bd which who knows could have been why I got pg.
