Really shows that a faint line is still a line! So lovely to see the pics. Im almost as excited as if it were me lol!

A slow start but they'll come rolling in now!

And I am still technically in the running - CD29 today so three more days before AF due.

No symptoms particularly either way so it's all to play for!

Me and DH decided not to bd again tonight, as DH is tired and has an eye infection although he would have done it if I had blinked my eye lashes at him , and Im kind of in the mind set that we did it 3 days before ov, and the day before, and as im starting my new job this week if it doesnt work this month, then thats an extra month to settle into my job so its not necessarily a bad thing. But at the same time we know there is a chance so we wont look back and think we didnt try!

I said to him its weird, if someone told me they had done it at those times and didnt want to be pregnant Id be telling them to get the morning after pill, but because its me and I want to be pregnant, Im convinced the chances are really small!

No idea how reliable this is, and obviously every study varies, but I came across it on baby & bump (someone else on there did mention a study they read said 0% chance after ov etc so take with a pinch of salt)

Chances of Pregnancy by Day of Intercourse


-5 days before ov = 0%

-4 days before ov = 11%

-3 days before ov =15%

-2 days before ov = 20%

-1 day before ov = 26%

day of ov = 15%

1 day after ov = 9 %

2 days after ov = 5%

3 days after ov = 0%

I found that really understanding my body really helped me getting pregnant. I wished that I invested in understanding this better sonner. For me duofertility was the solution, but I am sure that you can get this sort of information from a natural family planning specialist too.
I didn't find that the clearblue monitor and bbt charting was enough for me.
I found this book quite good: Fertility: Fertility Awareness and Natural Family Planning

Claire 16, I think that the stats that you quote are correct, but it is hard to know when you ovulate as not all women ovulate on the same day every cycle.

I got myself into a bit of a sorry state last night watching back to back episodes of One Born Every Minute on 4OD. Not doing that again. Couldn't believe though the number of accidental pregnancies. How on earth do they all manage it?!
