The first BFP won't be from me I'm afraid. My temp dropped like a stone this morning. Pretty sure af will be here tomorrow:(
Good Luck to everyone else.
pma....Got my AC ready for next cycle and another 7 weeks to lost more weight before seeing the FS and getting Clomid.0 -
Morning ladies. Had a little meltdown yesterday and ended up crying on DH so we've decided to give it 6 months more and then get some help if I'm still not pregnant by then. That gives me 6 months to lose the extra weight so if I can lose 1lb-1.5lb a week they won't be able to fob me off with my weight as an excuse. Gym today and no sweets or crisps til the weekend.
Feeling quite pmsy and emotional today. Proper spotting so all hope is gone. Just waiting for CD1 so I can start againEu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Hey All
Yes, weird no 2013 BFPs yet! Glad the scan went well Becca.
Birdie, how is the CBFM? Is it a hassle to POAS every day? I was thinking about getting one for the next cycle. Temping's not for me as I'm always up at different times, and I always go for an early morning wee(!) I hope it works well for you
I'm CD26, which is when AF came last cycle. I had really weird EWCM days 17 - 19, so if that was OV I guess I won't be officially late for my period until later this week / early next week. Have been irritable as hell so am sure AF will be here soon. Trying not to SS!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Hugs Codemonkey. That sounds like a good plan re. the 6 month ttc period then seeking help. I hope it helps you to have a 'time frame' to focus on.
Good luck with the weight loss. Sugar is like a drug, it's really difficult to give up at first but then once your body doesn't rely on sugary fixes like sweets to get through the day you should stop craving them. All theory of course !! I have just stopped buying crisps and sweets so then i'm not tempted. I sometimes buy some special expensive dark chocolate, and just have a square every now and again, a nice treat, but you can't eat lots of it coz it gets sickly.0 -

Lets hope the time frame thing works so we don't have to. I should have lose the "golden" 10% after 3 months if I stick to the plan (although my body isn't keen on losing weight) so that gives us 3 months of a boost that way.
It's not so much the sugar during the day that's a problem it's the comfort eating and eating because I'm bored that I need to address. Hoping that if I know I can have something bad at the weekend it will help.
Tbh I'm having more problems with giving up caffeine.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

It's goodAfter forgetting all about it on the 2nd day it asked for a stick I've been good at remembering since. Each night before I go to bed (and I have my 2nd 'last wee' of the night!
) I take out a test stick and the CBFM and leave them on the shelf right above the toilet so they're in my eye-line when I go in on a morning. The sticks are in purple wrappers so that helps catch the eye.
I just switch it on and check it wants a stick then whilst it's reading it (takes 5 mins) I get dressed then come back and remove the stick and check what it says when I clean my teeth.
Think the annoying thing will be when I don't have to POAS for it and I get back out of the routine! May just pee on ICs for the sake of staying in the habit!
The 6 month plan sounds like a good one CodeIt's good to have timescales to work to, both for weight-loss and TTC
Maybe your body will hurry up and get PG now that it knows you're getting serious!
Had a chat with OH last night who gave me his theory on things: we're waiting for his best girl friend to get PG!All by chance but we moved in together after she and her OH did, got engaged after she did, married after she did... clearly we're not allowed to do anything before she does! I hope she's actually 10 weeks PG so I can follow suit shortly!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

I feel your pain, I get headaches when I try to limit caffeine. But when I went travelling when I was 18 I didn't drink any tea for months and I don't remember any side effects then, maybe there's a psychological side to it !0 -

Sorry to hear that code, I think the weight can have a big effect, I'm trying to lose a stone myself, I think it is the cause of my problems with ovulation as when I conceived three years ago I was at a normal weight.
One things for sure about this TTC business it certainly teaches us a lot about patience.
Hope you get lucky soon x0 -

Keeps me out of trouble!!!! xxxxxxxxxIf you can think it........it will happen0 -
codemonkey i'm sorry you are having trouble, i think giving a deadline helps in a way to give you a point to focus your weight loss efforts on.
forgot to say before when we was discussing weightloss, a great feature of the myfitnesspal app that keeps me on track is once you've put in all your food and exercise for the day it'll come up with 'if every day was like today, in 5 weeks you would weigh x'
really helps keep me focused, as obviously the figure goes up and down depending on how naughty i've been.
Birdie love your OH's theory, last time i was pregnant two friends were so maybe my body doesn't like being pregnant alone. shame no one else is planning a baby for a good long time yet...Little Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6
