haven't been on here for a while do just catching up on the thread, really good to see some bfp since I last visited! we had Xmas off from trying and think I'm about 9dpo at the minute but not feeling very optimistic! spent the weekend baby shopping with my little sister who's 20 weeks which was lovely although I spent most of it mentally picking what I would buy. right I'm off to catch up on the thread!

Thank you all my scan went ok. Bit sore now as had to have internal scan but the lady was so lovely. Results should be back by Friday.

Claire my dad is in the building trade so is doing most of the work for us but its a massive job. I'm surprised by how much I've been able to do!

Won't be getting a Jan bfp as tested & negative so just waiting for af now x

Im 16 days into my cycle. My cycle is normally 28 days ( I use phone app called my days). We bd on day 13 of my cycle which was showing as fertile time. On day 15 and 16 of my cycle I have a slight brown discharge ( not requiring pads etc) from what I read on the internet this is too early to be implantation bleeding. Does anyone know what it could be?

Oh no that's disappointing. i will still hold out hope i ovulated late. i have made a doctors appt for Tuesday so will wait and see. Maybe I need to start testing to see when I ovulate. I am rereading all the old threads and trying to pick up all your useful tips. If I didn't ovulate this month should I just bd as much as possible now to try and time it to make sure I don't miss next months? Or will I need to get something from the doctors to bring on af before I can ovulate again. Sorry for all the questions. Still trying to learn xx

I am still waiting for AF.Got a spot today so she can't be far away. Sigh.

Where are all our January BFPs? Will there be a flurry in the last week or so?

I think you can occasionally get ovulation bleeding. I'm not sure how common it is though.

You will need to wait after after your next AF to ovulate again if it is just a cycle where you didn't ovulate.

Or it's pretty likely that you just ovulated later this month in which case AF is on her way or a bfp! For example if you ovulated 10 days late, AF will be ten days late. So that's why it can be useful to track ov so you know for sure if AF is actually late or not.

Thanks skint- I didn't think this would be SO hard. Every month is like a kick in the teeth and a little bit more soul destroying!

Fingers crossed the witch stays away for you and the spot is a 'good' spot...

Is that the Zita West book? I have heard very good things about it, if it is. Not read it myself though. Isn;t it Taking Charge of Your Own Fertility?

Yes, it is so hard each month isn't it. I've been trying, around miscarriages, for so long now for a second baby and I hate the whole TTC thing. There is not a moment in the month when I don;t think about it - I am either on and waiting for it to finish, or waiting for Ov, or Oving, or in the 2ww. It is impossible to feel normal in this process.

At least we all have each other though.
