Scan update: Well it was very uncomfortable but I'm glad I went. The woman was lovely and put me at ease. She wasn't allowed to share results, but she seemed very thorough. She listened to me waffle on about my cycles and how sad it felt to be having an ultrasound but not seeing a baby, then said "please don't tell your GP I said anything because I'm not supposed to, but you ovulated today so jump on your partner when you get home!" Apparently one of my follicles was very long but starting to collapse, so I've just OVd... if only I could have scans every cycle!

Trina - How long are your cycles normally? I wouldn't call any of them +ve. :o

Amyloofoo - Get bonking girl, lol! I could defo do with a scan everyday for info like that :D Hope your sickness holds out at least for BDing :rotfl:

    Kellykins - Hugs for CD1

Becca - If it were me I'd be doing a HPT every day or every other day. I >hate< not knowing. I wasted so many tests when I wasn't temping as my cycle was 20 days longer than I was expecting it to be from the OPKs I had done :o

    Tinks - Fab pic :D

    Vic - Hugs for CD1

I have been reading along but struggling to find time to post at the min!

Healthy eating and exercising is all going well here - hope everybody else is doing ok? And confessions or really proud moments from anyones resolutions?

I went to zumba last night :T And I have resisted biscuits, jaffa cakes AND quality street at work!! I think I need a medal :p Have been eating soooooo healthy, am really hopeful for a good loss this week.

Nowt much going on with babymaking. Its so boring waiting for ov :o Started doing OPKs already to see if soy might have made me ov early, must remember to start temping again.

Hugs for any CD1 I missed and hello to all the newbies :hello:

I've not watched the Seven Ages of Pregnancy vesper - what's that about?

It was about when was the perfect age for pregnancy and when to become a mum (alright for those that apparently get a choice). So they interviewed a very young mum (14), teenage mum (17), young mum (22), average aged mum (27), perfectly planned for age mum (32), older career mum (38ish), older mum (early 40's), old mum (46).
They weighed up the differences of young mum's that were too young, but in their prime baby making wise, versus getting a house and being secure before having a baby, versus older mum that has done everything she wants and had a full life before having a child, but health risks to the baby.
Was quite interesting. One lady, a lady that had a baby around her career, and prob had a baby because its the normal thing to be done, went back to work after a week, after birth, and getting a fill time nanny. Grrrr.

Trina - If I were you I'd keep testing and BDing then. I had a similar set up to you - thought I'd ov'd and stopped BDing for a while, and tested for pregnancy at what I thought was 10DPO, when in fact at that point I hadn't even ov'd. So I missed it completely and didn't BD at the right times. We try to put in a big effort around ov so afterwards theres usually a good week or so that we CBA :o

Vic - I downloaded that app - helps if I actually use it tho :rotfl:

Vesper - Sounds really interesting. What channel was that on?

    How's everyone doing tonight?

Made it to the gym today which is good but feeling rubbish now. Fell asleep on the train home and only just woke up as it pulled into the station. Just as well I did or I'd have ended up on the other side of the country. Have a really bad headache and DH (not standing for darling husband atm) has upset me a bit. We were having a conversation about names that people give their babies triggered by all the babies that have been born lately and because we've already chosen a girls name I asked him if he liked any boys names.
DH: *irritated voice* Why? It's not like you're pregnant!
Me: I could be (well, there's a 21% chance right?). Anyway we chose the girls name before we decided to try.
DH: Dwayne. *insert another million stupid names here*

He's been a grumpy idiot ever since.
