Hey everyone. Was just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this?
I am on 10/11dpo. My highest temperature was 3dpo but since then it has dropped by 0.3/0.4 of a degree to around 36.10 give or take. According to FF I have still had 10 days above my coverline temp of 35.89.
My question is:- is your temp post O supposed to stay as high as your highest temp (i.e. around 36.4 for me this cycle)? I thought that your temp went up after O and stayed elevated at around same temp then came down a day or two before AF if you weren't pregnant....
Could this mean that my progesterone levels aren't high enough to maintain an elevated temp? I have PCOS and am having fertility investigations and that's what I think is wrong... (armchair doctor in the house!)
Here's my chart so you can see what I mean...

Tea-as the temps have a white circle they're not necessarily accurate so I wouldn't worry yet.0

Operation BD completed....
Can't sleep though

Just found out (via a post someone else made on Facebook) that my ex's wife is now six months pregnant.
I would never ever wish myself back with my ex, and I would never want his baby, but I feel like I have been punched in the stomach. I don't know why it has upset me so much.
In other news it's CD19 and it still doesn't look like I've ov'ed. I did once ov on CD19 so hopefully I'll see a temp rise tomorrow, but after 5 days in a row of BD we are just too worn out to keep at it.0 -

Awwww Angel... I know what you mean :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
I was in the same position last year when my ex unexpectedly got his girlfriend pregnant, I was really conflicted throughout the whole pregnancy and couldn't help feeling a little jealous. Unfortunately they went through the heartbreak of a stillborn at termI felt so guilty, although I would never, ever have wished that on them, or anyone else.
I guess what I'm saying is that it's natural to be a little jealous of someone who has something you want; but we never know what fate has in store - maybe we should count our own blessings instead of resenting others'? (Not that I'm saying you've done this).0 -
Thanks Amy. I'm not resenting them at all, don't get me wrong. I'm just insanely jealous. I've never met his wife but she deserves her own baby just like we all do. I just want mine too.
Have to get over myself otherwise I'll be in a grump for the rest of the day!0 -
Hugs Angel and Code
Still trying to get into the habit of peeing on sticks for my CBFM, forgot this morning until after I'd gone and had to squeeze more out! :rotfl: Don't know why it starts asking for sticks from CD6 though, seems more like an excuse to sell more sticks than *actual* scientific reasons!
This is such a boring period, waiting for OV, especially for me as it takes a fair while. Hope it's my last wait for OV for a long time! PMA!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Morning TCD.
I agree with Claire. The white dots indicate that your temps are probably less accurate (usually sleep deprivation or an irregular sleeping pattern or illness). According to the 'textbooks' LP temps should rise and peak halfway through your LP and then start coming down but I don't know anyone that this usually happens for. My temps peak in different places of my LP every month, sometimes 4dpo and sometimes 10dpo.
Good Morning everyone else:)
Had a sneaky little step on the scales this morning before Saturdays weigh in and have lost 1kg:j. Now I don't feel so guilty about the biscuit I had last night:o
