I always need to pee immediately upon waking, as in, cannot wait for a thermometer to register! Due to this, I take about 6-7 steps to the bathroom, sit down and take my temperature. It may not be completely accurate, but I can still definitely tell when I get the rises and how it stays up and when it falls.0 -
Tinks - your DD is lovely. You must be very proud.
Teamlowe- :jCongratulations on the weightloss:j
My weigh in os on Saturday and I am getting a bit nervous:p
I also use my phone to check the thermometer in the morning. If the beeping is a problem just hold the end of the thermomenter in a closed fist.0 -
quick update. Still waiting ov. should be next Friday but I am away Mon, Tues, Weds with work so I'll be jumping on OH when I see him.
In normal life, I got the job I applied forand I have joined WeightWatchers. I will lose some weight! Off to the gym tonight which is the first time in 4 months!

My thermometer shows the temp but then if its dark or Im going back to sleep at a weekend, I just press the button to switch it off - but then if you switch it back on later it will show the previous temperature, so no need to check it right away. I just have to be careful not to press it twice by accident or it looses the data, which I have done before! I think I bought it off Home Health or amazon.I always need to pee immediately upon waking, as in, cannot wait for a thermometer to register! Yeah I think QQ used to do a similar thing, she said it worked for her too.0 -

Was very impressed with OH today. Usually when it's make a baby week I'm the one with the timetable saying when we need to do it, but today he caught me by suprise, said 'shall we go and make a baby then' and took the initiative.
He's usually very passive so it can make me feel like it's my project rather than our project - even though I know he does want a baby.
My first was conceived accidentally so he had no choice in the matter (nor did I!) so it's good to see him taking the initiative for once.0 -
I haven't been sick for 2 hours so am going to sneak out to my scanning appointment. It feels naughty and I don't encourage anyone to purposely go into a hospital with bugs, however I know that my appointment is the last of the day so everything will be thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and bugs will be gone before any other patient goes in there. Don't worry, I'll follow all the infection control techniques we usually use... I feel more sorry for whoever I may have given it to yesterday when I was asymptomatic
I think I'm so keen to go because I want to take control of something again, today has just been involuntary vomiting and sleeping... and the US department are so stretched around here that if I miss this appointment I could be waiting for quite a while. Kind of nervous about finding something, but also nervous that there's no explanation for why my cycles are so weeeeird
Birdie - Thinking of you and hoping your GP is able to give you some good news. It must be very frustrating that the US practitioner didn't share anything with you, but hopefully that's because there was nothing serious to share :grouphug:
Tinks - That pic is gorgeous! You're such a lucky lady to have adorable DDs0 -
