I understand how you feel TeaLover and I'll miss you.
Good luck on the 12m+ thread, I'll have to start stalking that thread properly since we're losing more ladies to it, it's not time for me to move over yet, really hoping I don't have to
So sorry to hear about your MC Jox, feel free to hang out here when you're ready to start trying again and please do post, we are a nice supportive bunch but we can only support the people who ask for it.
It's a difficult balance on here and something that seems to pop up every now and then. Newbies can appear and say that they've been trying for a year then in their next post announce a BFP, but to those reading it's like someone's popped in to say hello then in the next breath announced a BFP then they're off again. None of us really know what the rest of us are truly going through and even if someone mentions how long they've been trying, if they only post once or twice they're still 'new' to the regulars IYKWIM and there's so much going on the chances of you remembering a newbie's history straight off are slim so it does sometimes feel a little like people are just popping on to make a point of showing off a BFP when they've not been round picking everyone else up during the 2ww, AF, doctors appointments etc
It's also important to remember that this place is full or hormonal women on the edge and caution must be taken at all times to keep us happy and calm! :rotfl:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

But sooner or later all of those posters will move on either to the pregnancy threads (hopefully!) or the 12m+ thread. If all of the newbies are put off by the fact that everyone knows each other, this thread will run its course in a while! I've only been on this thread since March and I don't really consider myself one of the regulars, but I still post. Come and join us xDon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a good long weekend. Well today is the day for me! I am off to the doc after work to have my mirena removed.....am a little bit scared (I am a wimp)

Jox - very sorry for your loss. I hope you feel better soon. Just wanted to let you know that benefited very much from hearing your story about how long you had been trying to concieve and getting your BFP.
I am also much more of a lurker than a poster. I have been lurking for a long time on this thread although only trying to concieve #1 since January. I know it isn't very long compared to a lot of others but I already get frustrated and down everytime af arrives. I like to hear positive stories like the one you shared and celebrate every BFP I hear about.

Hugs to everyone who needs them. Wishing you all the best and lots of late August BFPs.
Hi, I started posting on here in May last year but I had a change in circumstances, life, husband etc etc which meant I disappeared for a while. But I am now back but have to admit I have been lurking all the time I have been gone just to see who gets the BFP and what that must feel like.

think relaxing thoughts littleme! and have some chocolate for afterwards, makes everything better
JoJoB hugs for CD1 but glad you've got yourself a decent luteal phase, hopefully next cycle it'll be 266 days
...had a 1:1 with my boss today and he was shockingly lovely! asked me how i was feeling and said i seemed very happy in comparison to six months ago. which if i'm honest i do feel, don't know if it's having a regular cycle, exercising more or just having more time after my mc (it is a great healer after all) but i'm in a much better place now x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

This thread seems to have a minor implosion every few months or so, I've seen it many times and to be honest on such an emotive and personal subject, it's completely understandable.
Everyone should feel free to post, and if it's all getting too much then a bit of time away is sometimes the best thing to do. I clearly remember peeing off a bunch of people on here yonks ago because I posted insensitively on something. i didn't mean to upset anyone, but I did and I could see why I did. You live and learn.
Jox - sorry for your loss. I hope you have lots of support around you.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Just checked in to see if any BFPs and got a lovely surprise - congrats Mrsj!!! I've felt your pain since I've been on here so really happy for you! Still can't believe only 2 BFPs this month though - whats going on?? Has everyone been too busy to BD this month?
Jox - sorry to hear your news
Am expecting my AF soon as we didn't really BD around ov, but not much in the way of AF symptoms, not even sore boobs..really annoying hope my cycle isn't getting messed up from usual 28 days, that would be sods law!
Seems like I missed out on a lot of angst on here re BFPs, just remember PMA everyone and take some time out if you need to, it really helpsWe got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

Hi all. Thought I should pop in and 'show my face'. I try to keep up with the thread but its not always easy.
BIG (((((Hugs))))) to everyone. It sounds like we all need one.
Squirrel, I have to say you look stunning. Jox, so sorry for your loss. Extra hugs for Comp, so dissapointing. Tea Lover, you will be missed. Please pop back from time to time.
QQ, can you please change my age to (whispers) 40 on the first page.
Well, I finally went to the doctors today. Another weird cycle. As you can tell I'm on day 33 so far with no symptoms of anything at all. She told me to go for a blood test on day 2 of AF, then day 21 and every week thereafter til next AF to test for progesterone. So I guess I'm looking forward to AF this time as at least it will feel like I'm doing something positive now.
I really need to look after my health more too. I've already given up drinking. Might even go for a run this evening. PMA, PMA, PMA.0 -
PS, missed out comp - hope you have a proper sticky next time, fx!
Also, mrsj - you never shared with us how you told DH, (im nosy)!
Tealover sorry to hear you are leaving, hope you get your BFP soon and come back and tell us as we will all be very happy to hear it!We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.
