Usually the NHS won't do what they call reassurance scans so if they offer you one then go for it! Lots of people end up paying privately for an early scan to try and put their mind àt rest.
But always remember a scan only tells you what us happening at that specific moment in time and is not an indicator of what will happen in the future. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Thanks Hun. Took away the ECM and its moved the line to cd27. That's the date i thought.DS born November 2013 :smileyhea0 -

do you still live in Wigan? if so then I'm guessing your epu was Leigh and they're fantastic, I was offered the same thing but no positive so far. the counselling there is great too but you do have to go to the epu ward which can be hard when there's bad memories. I had to sit it the waiting area for the assisted conception which is the same ward and considering its full of infertility information it was hard to sit there
the fear is understandable and unfortunately nothing anybody can say or do to take it away but two miscarriages in a row is extremely rare, the figure I was given was the chance is 2.2%Little Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Hi all
Haven't been able to catch up for a few days as I haven't been able to get to a computer without anyone looking over my shoulder - I don't really feel comfortable reading the thread at work where people can see what I'm up to, and we've had a friend staying so I'm just catching up now. Not sure if it's just me who's a bit embarrassed at the thought of workmates knowing you are "trying"?
Anyway hope you are all well, and all the ladies who are trying to lose a few pounds are sticking at it! AFM I have definitely put on a bit over Christmas and would like to lose about a stone and a half in total. I was a size 12 before Christmas but my trousers are all a bit tight now! I started doing weight watchers again on 2 Jan and will start going to the meetings again next week as it has really worked for me in the past, and I've also been back at the gym this week playing squash with DH and doing a spin class. Going to try and do some sort of exercise at least three times a week which I think is realistic, because I'm still having to fit in studying for two more exams.
DH and I used Conceive Plus for the first time this morning. It wasn't as icky as I expectedWe had our friend staying over so were trying to be very sneaky and quiet. Becca, as we are now using the Conceive Plus can I please have a * beside my name? Thank you
Also can I please predict 6 bfps for January.
Elsie, sounds like your doctor is being quite supportive. Good luck for your OH's SA and your day 21 bloods.
MV, if you are still lurking, I am SO happy that everything is ok for you, and fingers crossed that it remains that way x
Mrs TM - I absolutely love your crochet dolls! They are fantastic. I haven't crocheted anything for a while but you've really made me want to dig out my hooks from wherever they are and make something. I found out that there's a Stitch & B1tch on Monday nights near me so I'm thinking of going along for a bit of inspiration and in the hope that I might make some new friends, as I really don't have too many locally since we moved here three years ago.
Tink - hugs. Hope you are feeling better.
Anyone heard anything from Atton? She sounded so down last time I saw her post, I think before Christmas. Atton if you're lurking I hope you're ok.0 -
If you can think it........it will happen0

Sadly, once you have had a mc the joy of pregnancy is taken away and you will always spend any future pregnancies worrying and being scared.
However, to have one mc is very common, I read some stats that around 25 per cent of pregnancies end in mc, including very early mcs.
But as has been said, to have more than one is less usual, and to have more than two is even less usual still.
When you get to three or more, it is less than one per cent of women who will have three or more miscarriages, a tiny percentage in statistical terms.
We do have a miscarriage support thread here on MSE, so if you want to talk about the mc, and about issues surrounding it including testing, it might be best to ask on there.
Because talking about mc on here often freaks people out. On the miscarriage thread you can say whatever you want and those of us on it have a lot of knowledge we can share. :j
