Big hugs for the CD1s and those in need. I haven't read back yet so will do so in a bit......

Started opks this cycle and it seems that I ov a little later than I thought as no +ve yet but got a faint line today CD16. So bd'd on day 14 just in case and think I will test again later and bd tonight/maybe tomorrow. The only thing is I am full of a cold and OH has fallen out with his family so is not in the best of moods - I guess I'm going to have to parade around in my emergency sexy underwear later even though it's the last thing I feel like doing

Got to go to boots today to try and find a suitable face wash - my skin has gone really spotty after coming off the pill

Morning all

CD1 for me (a day late), not feeling too bad about it thankfully. We are on day 2 of taking maca (husband has taken to calling it "viagra", bless him, as I told him it would make us both more "up for it" and would improve his little soldiers) and I have a tube of conceive plus ready to go for next month. Also still considering buying a CBFM but they work out really quite expensive don't they?

I am feeling much less horrible today than I have in the past on CD1, in that I am actually able to function and haven't felt like fainting/had to go back to bed, so I'm hoping that the evening primrose oil I've been taking might be having an effect. I haven't even had a painkiller which is absolutely unheard of for me.

Going to visit a friend later for swapping of pressies and a bit of early festivity. Said friend has a cinnamon allergy and normally has a special cinnamon-free Christmas cake made for her by another friend, but I've just found out that she didn't make to get one this year so I'm making a very last minute boiled fruit cake for her as a little pressie, as I can't bear the thought of her being Christmas-cake-less. Hopefully it will be a nice surprise for her and it's making my house smell lovely

Hello ladies.

I am going to start using my opks tomorrow!

Will be cycle day 9 so hoping to start getting an idea of when I ouvlate as first month using them.

According to my Period Tracker app I have a 29 day cycle but I am pretty sure its not that but as I had a 37 day cycle a while ago its put the app out of sync, its more 25-26 days but if I use the tests it should help me work it out more!

On my instructions it says to put a urine sample in a cup or similar and leave it to settle for 20 mins then use test and let that rest for 10 mins?

Seems a long time to wait?
