lots of love to those having their first christmas without their angel. Claire, Abis, Tinks, i know how hard this christmas will be for you and i'll be thinking of you. my christmas is a lot easier this year, time is a big healer and i'll try to send as many happy thoughts as i can your way x x x

Lacking Christmas spirit too. Not only am I no nearer to having a baby than last Christmas, but DH is being a total muppet. He's not feeling very well (again) and he's such a baby. Now he's saying that if he's not feeling 100% better he's not going out on Christmas day which is all very well for him but means I won't be able to see my family ( I don't drive atm and we live in a pretty rural area) and because we're having dinner with his family, I won't get a Christmas dinner either unless I go by myself and I feel odd doing that.

Plus its just too warm to be Christmas!!

I should be 31 weeks and have a huge bump and full of excitement. Instead am all empty and spending another Christmas without a baby to spoil!

It just makes me so mad. The amount of times I've gone to see his family when I've been feeling crap. I even went once dosed on co-codamol for really bad pain. And its not like he does anything but park himself in front of the football and leave me to make conversation.

Happy Christmas Eve ladies! Sat in work and pretending to look productive when I'm just going to be clock-watching all day and preying we get sent home early!

Finally everything is all sorted for Christmas, just 2 tiny presents left to wrap and I'm done! We've done the Big Shop already which was lucky by the looks of the queues outside the butchers and supermarkets this morning! Feeling a little queasy about how much we've spent on Christmas dinner though, over £100 for one day! :eek: And my cheap-skate brother (who earns more than OH and me put together!) was complaining to my Mum the other day about having to fork out £20 for a bottle of champagne! :mad:

Hugs for rubbish ill OHs They do seem to forget that no matter how ill we are we always manage to pull ourselves together for family gatherings (like last year when I was suffering from food poisoning, had the startings of a cold and got my first off-pill AF and I was still up for hosting Christmas at ours!) yet if they feel a little sorry for themselves they expect us to be OK with them cancelling all our plans!

Even more big hugs for the ladies who are missing their Angels. I truly hope that all of us have little babies or big bumps this time next year!
