Oooo, Mrs Happy - do you have a date for ICSI or does it depend on where you are in your cycle?

We have an appointment for Monday to return consent forms etc and hand over £4750  (We have already spent about £2000 to get to this stage  )As I am CD1 today I think I will be back to get started on the drugs around the 10th Jan, but will double check that when I'm there on Monday. Am really excited, then really scared, then very positive, then bursting into tears, ah the joys:)

This is a picture of my emotional state at the moment....

Lao cat, I personally think it depends on how long the couple have been trying/if any issues have been identified. From most people I would rather be told by text or email, so I can have my own private reaction to the news before I have to put a brave face and force congatulations out. I had someone ring me (when I was already on messenger to her) just to hear my reaction to her news (expecting some squealing or something probably, which isn't me anyway) and it really made me resent it even more. I know some feel text/email is impersonal, but sometimes that's what an infertile needs ;)

Good luck only way and abis :)

    Good luck mrs happy!

Glad the results were A-ok lemon! :j

AF is due tomorrow, and I ran out of ICs yesterday. I have a digi, but I think I'm going to save it for xmas morning if there is no sign of AF by then.

Anyone else doing a Christmas test?

Hugs to Maire and Elsie for CD1 and 2, sorry ladies :(

But fingers crossed for onlywayisup and abi that your little squinters turn into BFPs, I will be stalking the thread today in the hope of good news!

AFM, I tested again today at 13dpo and it's still a BFN. AF is due tomorrow but I haven't had a temp drop yet and no AF cramps at all, but I'm still not hopeful and would kind of be relieved when CD1 does come around so I can get on with polishing off the many bottles of wine that have found their way into my house over the last week or so.

Exam results due out this morning at 8am but the website has gone down so I am now starting to panic, please keep your fingers crossed for me! Also it's the last working day before Christmas for me so am looking forward to mince pies and festivities.

Hope you all have a lovely Friday x

fingers crossed for everyone awaiting test results this morning :D

big loves for CD1s, especially maire1, i'm sorry i can't recall your story, have you been given a reason for your struggles?

afm temp has been high the past two days so don't know what's up with it, i can't have ovulated, that's pretty much impossible! although it would be lovely to have a more normal cycle...

i get to pick up my new car tonight! it's just a red version of the old one, do you remember months ago me saying dh had lost the keys? we finally gave up trying to sort the immobiliser ourselves and took it to the dealership who would have charged us about a grand for the privilege cos they insisted on changing the locks too. so they've done us a deal whereby we don't have to pay anything up front and our monthly payments are less.

will be soooo happy to be able to drive again. plus there's a drive thru starbucks just opened up near the dealership.... x x
