Onlywayisup - Evap lines are usually grey or have no colour. Real lines start off pale pink (or blue if its blue dye) and over the next few days darken to the same colour as the test line. To check if its a real line, you should be able to view it from both sides and also view it from arms length. You should also read it within the timeframe which is 10 mins I think for most tests.

I also have a faint line on mine this morning (oopsies for testing at 9DPO) but I think mine is more of an evap as it didn't develop within 10 mins. Still hopeful tho (but then again, I always am!)

only way, a real line can be seen in normal light at arms length, any squinting ans holding up to the light is probably an evap

Thanks for the advice on ttc and losing weight and getting married - I've decided to start slimming world again as soon soon as Christmas is over, as I won't be confident getting married like I am now,exercise lots too, probably still ttc but not as hard as we could (excuse the pun!) and get on with the wedding planning. Also need to add job hunting to that list too in January. And if we haven't managed to get pg by August time I think we'll go to doctor as it will be about 18mths by then and I'll be nearly 35....

I'n back to CD1 today, a few days earlier than expected, but good because my next cycle will be sooner than I thought and we can get on with the ICSI

Thanks TL and abis. Line seems pink but maybe just because i want it to be. Line is visible at arms length and in normail light but not from the other side. Il retest tomorrow but feeling like its probably jus wishful thinking:(

Got my results back normal today, so relieved! Means I only need to be monitored until April which is fab, or at least as fab as it could be everything considered.

Abis, testing at 9dpo - who's got qqs wagging finger? Hope its true though lovely :-)

I know I need a waggy finger, lol! I had tomorrow pencilled in for testing, and I managed to not POAS first thing, but then I needed to do an extra bit of wee after DH and DD had gone to school/work so I thought I would do a cheeky test with that seeing as I hadn't had my morning cuppa by that point either and my wee would be really concentrated. If it is -ve this month then I defo need some warning as AF will arrive on xmas day and I will not cope well that :(

Oooo, Mrs Happy - do you have a date for ICSI or does it depend on where you are in your cycle?
