Morning ladies AF arrived last night so cd 1 for me.

After her arrival I decided I needed a drink and got through half a bottle of jack daniels! Which I don't usually drink, I then proceeded to have a massive go at my hubby - I blamed him for whole thing, as in past he took steroids (for bodybuilding, not prescribed) and they can effect fertility, so I pretty much told him if we can never have a baby it'll be his fault (which isn't necessarily case at all.)

I then went off on one about how I was fed up putting my life on hold as far as staying in a job I hate, incase I get pregnant, while he was free to do what he wanted.

He just sat there and took it all, didn't even argue back, bless him, but I feel horrible today.

Codemonkey - I feel similar to you, so although it doesn't help you aren't alone in struggling with all this.

    Morning ladies

I think I've got some good news - I was meant to go for a consultation for laser hair removal this morning, so thought I'd better do a pg test as they will ask if I'm pregnant.

I think I got a tlp, although I couldn't be sure... line was incredibly faint, but the closest I've ever seen to a tlp, so I did another ic and got another little line! So I thought, sod it, and cracked out the digi...

Congratulations! But at least with him out you can think of a cute way to tell him

    Thanks ladies :o

I am in such shock I am totally stumped as to how to tell him! I think I'll just blurt it out, or tell him to close his eyes and I'll put the test in his hands, or something...

I've spent so much time dreaming of how I'd tell him and now my mind is blank!

It's such early days, but I have promised myself that whatever happens, I will savour this day, and always remember how happy I feel right now.

TeamLowe - I hate to say it, but we 'relaxed' this cycle... no OPKs, no temping, just regular BDing. I'm not for a minute suggesting 'relax and it will happen' because that is THE MOST ANNOYING PIECE OF ADVICE, but I think for us it just meant that we had more sex without worrying about it being at the right time. Not helpful at all...

I also booked an appointment with a private FS. And might have to pay a cancellation fee - and booked and PAID for a course of laser hair removal.... so there was a fair bit of tempting fate going on too :D

Good morning ladies-I know it's early-but here's a big cake for everyone that is feeling pants just now xx

    code-hope you're okay :)
claire- I work in child protection-I see so many babies/children that I get so upset about about, I would fill my house with the wee souls-mind you, the biggest problem is the parents who more often than not have had a rubbish upbringing themselves and do know any different/better. It all makes me very sad. :(

QQ-hope you have a fab holiday

Oh, just scrolled down to remind myself of what I wanted to say and saw your post mrsj-congrats-get mrj tannoyed at Tesco :rotfl:

Am off to look for signatures now cos I'm nosey-if someone could pm who I'm looking for please cos I'm lazy as well ;)

As for stealing babies-I would def pick my wee niece-nutter that she is :)

hope everyone is well, have a good weekend ladies x
