Trying for a Baby Part 8

Thanks ladies
I am in such shock I am totally stumped as to how to tell him! I think I'll just blurt it out, or tell him to close his eyes and I'll put the test in his hands, or something...
I've spent so much time dreaming of how I'd tell him and now my mind is blank!
It's such early days, but I have promised myself that whatever happens, I will savour this day, and always remember how happy I feel right now.
TeamLowe - I hate to say it, but we 'relaxed' this cycle... no OPKs, no temping, just regular BDing. I'm not for a minute suggesting 'relax and it will happen' because that is THE MOST ANNOYING PIECE OF ADVICE, but I think for us it just meant that we had more sex without worrying about it being at the right time. Not helpful at all...
I also booked an appointment with a private FS. And might have to pay a cancellation fee - and booked and PAID for a course of laser hair removal.... so there was a fair bit of tempting fate going on too
To be honest frinds and a few women in here have said that, that it was the month when they'd given up a little and didn't think they was in with a shot. I think relaxing can help if you're a 'normal' couple, stress can never be good but being told to relax is always incredibly annoying especially from people who'll have no idea if you're stressed about it or not lol
Well whatever you do it can't be worse than when I told DH, I rang him and said 'I've just took a pregnancy test and it's positive but only like a faint line and I don't know what to dooo, are you mad at me?*cries*' lol we hadn't been trying, just having a lot of unprotected BDing and I thought he'd be angry but he was so so so happy.
I'd giv anything to have that day again, so please enjoy yours, make sure you celebrate and he spoils youx x

Have a great holiday QQ!
Big hugs to comp, hope it's wrong!
Well I just had to check my cervix and found a teeny tiny bit of brown blood up there so now I'm thinking I'm out but I'm ok with that, just desperate to get to the gynae and see my results.
Plus whilst we've been trying for what feels like forever this is only my third 'regular' cycle so really I'm back at the beginning and shouldnt expect much
Plan for today is go swimming, mainly cosi prefer their showers for washing my hair lol and see my family
Oomph and I can update my signatureas we've passed the 1k barrier for our deposit, only just but stillx x
Thats hilarious you prefer their showers, i remember when was at uni and had a rubbish shower, I used to love going anywhere with a good power shower so I know what you mean lol!
We're saving for a deposit too. But live in the SE so we're gonna need to save around £50k and weve saved 9k... so got another 3 years to go which is slightly depressing! But on the other hand, we want to have a baby whilst were still in this house with cheap rentMorning ladies
I think I've got some good news - I was meant to go for a consultation for laser hair removal this morning, so thought I'd better do a pg test as they will ask if I'm pregnant.
I think I got a tlp, although I couldn't be sure... line was incredibly faint, but the closest I've ever seen to a tlp, so I did another ic and got another little line! So I thought, sod it, and cracked out the digi...
I am in total shock, completely shaking and DESPERATE to tell DH but he has gone out to Tesco!!! Typical!
congratulations!!:T:T:T
You just got told you had pcos right? And were about to see FS?? Im not getting that part confused with anyone else am I?

MrsJ - I am so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so happy for you!!!! Although I am pleased when anyone gets a BFP, it's even better when it's a 'regular' poster if you get what I mean
I am going to sack off all testing this month - as long as I can tell the FS how long my cycles are that should be enough
I think I am also going to resign. The last week has been more hideous than usual and I physically and mentally can not cope anymore. *sigh*14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
Just popping on from work to say a quick congrats mrsj!!!!!!
Let us know how you tell him!0 -
Didn't wanna read and run.
:j:j:jCongratulations MrsJ:j:j:j So Happy for you:T
I wsh I could just 'relax' but I am obsessed with temping and POAS:rotfl:Am supposed to be going to Holland in October to visit OH family so maybe I will not obsess for that month cos I don't want to temp while on holiday0 -
Ladies - thank you all so much for your congratulations!
QQ - the digi says 1-2 weeks... I'm hoping I just OV'd later than I'd thought, and that everything is ok. Feeling a bit cautious about it all in case it's a mistake or something... but for now, as I said, I will enjoy the moment.
Claire 16c - yep, that's right, I'd just got a PCOS diagnosis and made a FS appointment!
DH is over the moon. Lol a the idea of the Tesco tannoy!!! Imagine!
In the end I just told him I had something good to show him and told him to close his eyes and hold out his hands. I put the digi in his hands and he started feeling it saying 'what is this some sort of used tampon or something disgusting? :rotfl:' Anyway, he opened his eyes and couldn't believe it - he was very excited but now is panicking it's not true and keeps asking me to do another test, or suggesting he does a control test.... men!!!
We've got friends arriving in about an hour and I am still in my dressing gown, need to clean the whole house, but am totally shocked and cannot seem to function normally!
I absolutely couldn't have stayed sane without all the support and advice from you guys, and I genuinely hope that you will ALL have BFPs very very soon.
ETA p.s. Claire 16c - I know, I'm hoping Sonya will be able to give me some tips and advice...0
