Trying for a Baby Part 8

Enough of our wallowing! We will get there. It doesn't feel that long ago that I was convinced I would never find someone who loved me, and would dream of marrying me. Felt like everyone else was getting married - and they were - but eventually it happened for me to. I forget when I (may, occasionally...) complain about DH that plenty of people would love what I have.

Anyway, back on topic! Can I admit to being a little hopeful this month?! My B00bs are soooo painful, and while that isn't unusual it does seem more than normal. Specifically my nipples are super sensitive, and throbbing from time to time. I'm bloated and tired, but these could well be AF symptoms! I think I am sort of 9DPO, as I know/believe I ov'd on Wednesday night last week. So 9/10 DPO tomorrow... and not sure if I should wait and be patient, or manage my own expectations by testing.

I have one IC, so I may try that over the weekend sometime. Hope is such a dangerous thing...

People do forget the pain they are in very quickly, not quite the same, but I spent a year with my gallbladder diseased and my liver failing, I was in almost constant pain and was in and out of hospital and taking way too much morphine.

I had an operation to fix everything and within 4 weeks the pain was a distant memory. It really shocked me how fast I forgot about how bad it really was. A few weeks after the op I had a mini-relapse and wondered how the hell I ever managed to cope with it day in and day out.

I think it's the same with TTC, you forget how bad it is as soon as it's over, so people don't realise how much comments will hurt, even though they should know better.

I think some people do forget, some of us don't though and that's why a few graduates pop back to check how you guys are doing, offer any advice and wish positives on people.

I'm one of those who has moaned about being poorly through pregnancy, not just sickness but wheelchair bound, absolute agony admitted to hospital poorly. Twice we've been told he has no heartbeat and twice he's proved them all wrong. I'd still do it all again. I don't moan to rub it in to people who struggle, but sometimes it does consume me and I don't realise then I have tinks and another girl who is ttc after a stillbirth as friends and I think frig what have I said!

I had a scan on Wednesday and the sonographer asked about my scar from tube and ovary removal so I told her and she asked how long it took us to conceive. She has been trying for 7 years now, I think that's amazing that she can be so dedicated to her job when it's something she's longed for so much but she was really upbeat and told us about the little girl as had adopted.

Well I just had to check my cervix and found a teeny tiny bit of brown blood up there so now I'm thinking I'm out but I'm ok with that, just desperate to get to the gynae and see my results.
Plus whilst we've been trying for what feels like forever this is only my third 'regular' cycle so really I'm back at the beginning and shouldnt expect much

Plan for today is go swimming, mainly cosi prefer their showers for washing my hair lol and see my family
Oomph and I can update my signatureas we've passed the 1k barrier for our deposit, only just but still x x

I think I've got some good news - I was meant to go for a consultation for laser hair removal this morning, so thought I'd better do a pg test as they will ask if I'm pregnant.

I think I got a tlp, although I couldn't be sure... line was incredibly faint, but the closest I've ever seen to a tlp, so I did another ic and got another little line! So I thought, sod it, and cracked out the digi...



I am in total shock, completely shaking and DESPERATE to tell DH but he has gone out to Tesco!!! Typical!
