Code - feel free to tell me to pee off - but I think you may be getting into a bit of a negative loop. You, and I both, have to accept that DH will never be that spontaneous, and you have to find a way around it.

Is he a gamer? I know the incredible annoyance of gamers who sit being boring, anti-social and grumpy. Can you try to agree a computer free night? Maybe date night and although it can be uncomfortable to start with, a routine may help.

I am not suggesting sexy undies, as I know things like that don't work for me. And I feel stupid, and depressed when it doesn't work. I think its more about finding something that works to remind you why you married the guy in the first place!

My best option is doing things that make us feel closer, and more loving, which tends to lead to generally more BD. I also made some unsexy rules - like he has to come to bed at midnight for 30 mins, even though he will most likely be up til 4 (he works til midnight ish normally). If we just chat and cuddle a little, it can lead to other things. Not always, but if it is the right time, then it's slightly less 'suspicious' if I push things along. DH hated when, for a while, he thought we were only ever BD'ing for, well, BD reasons.

The odd loving text helps too. I always call on the way home for a chat, it makes him more ready (in a non-s3x way) when I get home. So I don't walk in the door to him still in bed really! Which puts me in an immediate mood. Which he senses, and resents, and gets moody... and BD is immediately off the cards!

Oddly the fact we are having trouble has helped a bit. He is more involved in the whole process, and seems to understand how much it means to me. BUT, and this is a big but, it's still me that initiates most of the time. I've come to terms with it. I think I have a higher libido anyway, but he is not too hard to convince normally.

s'ok t2d. We have a really affectionate relationship with loads of cuddles and touching and laughing and silly pet names and play fighting and we're best friends. I think it annoys me because we only BD when he wants to. I don't tell him about ov and I don't have a classic 28 day cycle so he doesn't know when I ov. I try to initiate at other times too. Just feels like all his needs get met and mine get pushed aside.

my sister went watching the match, well jealous, i even fancied him when he modelled a dress

code i use the very unsexy method of working out when i may ovulate and giving him advance warning of what nights I'm guna need him. seems to work with him and we have spontaneous se x at other times so it's not like it takes all the fun out of it, but ovulation is such a rare thing for me I'd be really upset if we missed one

afm, after overanalyzing my chart all week, i noticed i usually have a three day dip starting today. so i thought 'i'll definitely be out if the same happens this time) Cept i took my temperature (at normal time with normal amoount of sleep and no alcohol last night) and its shot up. so i googled triphasic charts and now i need that mallet lol
course, i know really its probably as i have a bit of a cold, but still, that stupid hope is making me daydream...x
