Evening ladies,
I'm going to butt in on the same note as countrybum, offering conception bits to anyone who could use them.
I'm at work so can't see it in front of me but pretty sure there's a mix of 30 or so ov and preg tests as well as a handful of CB smiley ov predictor tests (plus the tester if you want it!) and a CB Digi preg test. I can't remember what other bits are there but hopefully they'll be useful to someone. PM me if interested.
I still read regularly since I left the thread, massive hugs to you at the moment QQ.
Too many old "faces" still here though so loads of sparkly SBDTA, newbies and veterans alike.MARCH GROCERY CHALLENGE £118/ £2500 -
Just popping in to say I have just got a ridiculously positive OPK....on CD16!!! That makes me so unbelievably happy!!
No soy, no herbs, no supplements....but my slightly podgy body actually surging at an almost perfect point in the cycle! HELL YEAAHH!!
Vic- No, OV day is not counted as DPO because, well, it's not past ovulation! So if you ov'ed on CD15, CD16 would be 1DPO
Becca - I don't know what your cycles were like before, but I doubt soy would be having an effect that quickly. It's possible of course, or you might just end up getting a lot of highs. Which days did you take soy?
All CBFM users....remember, as soon as you get the first peak STOP INSERTING STICKS. The first peak starts a program within the monitor so you will always get a 2nd peak...then back down to lowBeing MSE there!

Hiya lily thanks for that. I meant if my hormone levels are higher because of the soy rather than them actually producing a true high. I probably will get lots of highs!! I took soy days 4-8, tonight is my last night xFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Becca/Vic the "high"s are usually brought on by increased estrogen (which produces ewcm) which clomid has an effect on and so I'm guessing soy does too. The peak happens when estrogen dips down and LH climbs up. You can see this happening on the lines on the sticks, too. I got "highs" from something like cd7 to cd13 last cycle, on clomid. The length of time you get highs can change the more the monitor gets used to you too. HTH

Soy acts as an estrogen blocker (same as clomid) so if your getting high's it's because there is actually more estrogen in your body! You're right, your probably will get lots of high's but that's not a bad thing.
What dose are you taking? I would have thought CD8 would be too early for it to have been having such a profound effect...but it all depends on what your levels were like in previous cycles. I can only compare it to me, but as I seemed to ovulate very late anyway, soy did nothing for me in small doses.
Whatever is happening, it looks like soy is doing something for you so that's good14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
