    Welcome Fraz_babe!

Yay for CD1 Tink, but have a hug too :)

I hear you all on the low libido'd OH front. :o I've only ever been with one man other than my OH (not through want of trying before then though!! I was a late bloomer, not very good with guys etc :o), we were together for just over a year and he was always up for it, morning and night and all hours in between. I should have realised that OH was cut from a different cloth when, relatively early on in the relationship, I initiated a second BD in a day and he told me that it wouldn't happen! :p He always tells me that his brain is willing, but his 'second brain' is fast asleep! ;) The worst thing for me is when AF arrives and OH looks really gutted because he wants a baby so much - I just want to slap him and tell him that if he'd actually done his bit when I asked him to we might have a baby by now! If I left him to inititate he'd leave it 10 days when whine at me about how we haven't done it in aggggges! I know this because I've tested the theory a few times! How sexy is whining for BD?!

I'll pop over to the other thread and read about your appointment Tea. :) Giggling at the image of you having a whispered argument in the waiting room! I like karma catching up with your OH too!

I accept that my DPO is correct T2D, was me being a silly bear! :o I'm changing my testing day to Monday as AF is due Saturday/Sunday. :)

Hope the magpies were a good sign Jovie!

Jovie - I have been temping for a year now and I set my alarm for half and hour before I have to wake take my temp half asleep and then nod off again:D If I wake early I take my temp when I wake but I have found with myself that waiting till the right time gets more consistant results. It really depends on if I have to get out of bed or not. If I get up and move around, (even to pee), it throws my temps off. So if I can stay in bed and wait till the right time I use that temp but if I have to get up then I use the temp that I took on waking.
If you are using FF and you take your temp at a different time/have a bad nights sleep/wake early you can mark it on your calander and you will get a ring instead of a solid dot.

TMI: Oh and I temp vagin8lly because I sleep with my mouth open/snore and it gave irratic temps and made the general pattern harder to read.

I really think that going to the docs armed with all my charted info about temps, cycle length, luteal phase length frequency of bd'ing is why we got referred so quickly.

Hope this long rambling post was helpful.:)

Tinks - Yay for cd1. Enjoy the wine and chocolate zone:rotfl:

Tealover - Fingers xs'd that you meeting goes well and the bully gets her just desserts.

MV - :rotfl:for the wooly hat.
  • Tinks, glad you can finally enjoy the wine and chocolate zone, somehow just calling it that makes CD1 not seem anywhere near as bad :)

On the bd front i have a oh who would do it when i asked. He is not one of those who doesnt do it he just hasnt innitiated in s few yrs and since cod2 came out to get my point across of what i want i get starkers and wiggle in front of the tv till he turns the game off. Last 2 times i have done that though its ended on an early fin which was v frustrating.

Tealover: karma bits my oh on the butt when he goes for his sa as i cant help and the way they help makes me snigger everytime
But i woukdnt have been able to silence the sniggers

Morning all. It's so interesting to read how this whole TTC works for everyone else as I often wonder what is 'normal'.

I seem to have the opposite problem with my OH - happy to BD any time of the day or night, but my worry now that we're just starting to try is that he wants kids but doesn't really like babies or the idea of the disruption it will cause to our lives, and he said any idea of BD being specifically about making babies is a total turn off...so that means that I think I need to minimise any talk of dates, calendars, OV with him...which does mean that I'll be bending your ears on here...

atton83 - that made me laugh - "to get my point across of what i want i get starkers and wiggle in front of the tv till he turns the game off"

If they're the cheapy OPKs you might find you actually have to pee in a pot and dip them Lara, that's even more fun/possibly disastrous! :rotfl: We've had chats before about our sneaky-pee-pots, mine's a Jaegermeister shot glass! :D

I feel so sorry for K-Mids (to use her street name!), if we think it's bad having to explain why we're not PG and have random people look at our bellies all the time to see if we're hiding something, imagine how awful it is for her! So much pressure on the poor girl to provide an heir, every time I read a story about is she/isn't she PG I cringe. :o

Just to prove how TTC can mess with your mind at times (the Kate Middleton chat reminded me of this)... the other day I was watching Merlin (sad I know, but I love it). I couldn't help thinking that as Arthur and Gwen have now been married a while they must have some problems as otherwise there'd be an heir by now surely?! Then I realised I had completely lost any grip on reality I might once have had.

Same here kte - we do it more than we don't, and I told him last night that that will continue and he won't have any idea of what's going on 'backstage' so to speak, because he will freak out.
I'm on Agnus Castus, Follic Acid, OPKs and checking CM - to be perfectly honest the less he knows the better! I think he's secretly quite grateful - he's dying for a little one but doesn't want to *actually* think about how it happens!!
He sees me taking the tablets (I call them 'herbal supplements for ladies'!) and popping to the loo, but has literally no clue about any of it. He just wants to be a dad! :o

    Aren't boys stupid?!:rotfl:
