Afm no smiley on my opk yet and its cd16 - altho last month that didnt happen till cd23 - was just hoping it was earlier this month!! Ah well if it waits till the weekend that would be good - much easier to bd then!!

    xx

First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/14 :D
  • Oh code you are so not the only one love.

My OH has never been particularly rampant, I remember even when we first got together and I was up for it all the time, he used to not always be interested..alarm bells were a-ringing then!

Fast forward to 6 years on, and it does sometimes feel like a massive effort to get him in the sack. To be fair I'm not that bothered anymore a lot of the time too, but I sometimes feel a bit unloved and un-desirable.

It is SO much more common than people think as men are traditionally stereotyped as mad s e x-addicts who want to bonk 24/7...so not true!

I can't remember the last time OH initiated DTD with me to be honest

I also think when you live with someone and you know them/they know you, and you mooch about in your PJ's/trackie bottoms etc, the magic does tend to go a bit..it's just part of relationships growing I guess.

I depress myself by Googling other ttc forums and seeing people write how they BD every other day throughout their cycles/twice on a weekend etc, and I know it would NEVER happen with my OH! :rotfl:

Anywayyy...CD12 for me today. Bloody EWCM seems to have gone, it only lasted a day which was odd. Still no smiley on my OPK's, hoping I get one soon as I am paranoid I am not ovulating at the moment :(

BD'd last night anyway as I thought we should 'get the ball rolling' so to speak.

    Waiting..waiting..waiting.......

If it's any consolation (probably not!), I totally agree re. my OH and the very little effort he's making. I've run out of ways I can say "every other day" to him, I might as well be talking to a brick wall. I haven't had any alcohol pretty much all year, nor pate (which I love), I take at least 5 vitamins every day, take metformin every day which is the most evil drug out there, spend about 3 weeks a month peeing on ov sticks, am on constant cm watch..... and he can't even be bothered to BD.

MV I totally agree, my OH seems to have stopped initiating, and when I do sometimes he accuses me of just wanting a sperm donor!! I have explained that as much as I do want a babym, I do want him too!!

Ordered my thermometer last night so hopefully can start temping in a few days. Just got a question i'm hoping you can help me with. I know that you have to take temp as soon as you wake up and about the same time each day, so I will set an alarm for the weekend. But what if I naturally wake up before the alarm, am I ok to just temp as soon as I wake up whatever the time?

Oh and I'm not usually superstitious but last night I dreamt that we had a baby girl and then on the way to work I saw 3 magpies - 3 for a girl! Now i'm hopeful for a sticky Christmas BFP :p

Hugs to everyone that needs them and hope everyone has a good day!

Eek - have got a meeting with my boss and useless HR guy this afternoon (2.30) This is the first meeting since I told HR I thought she was bullying me.

Have posted how our appt yesterday went in the other thread, bit too technical for here I thought.

OH and I had a comedy argument in the FS's waiting room. You know when you're really, REALLY pee'd off but you have to whisper as there's other people in there? One of those arguments. Probably looked quite funny to the other people waiting :)
  • Congrats for CD1 Tink!

Tea - I had one of those arguements with my OH in a Doctors waiting room a few months ago. I was seething with him! So hard to keep a lid on it when you just want to punch someone!

jovie - lets hope the magpies bring some sticky babydust! can't help on the temping I'm afraid as I don't do it (yet)

MV - I felt karma was definitely on my side when a few mins later he had to get his kit off and be groped by a doctor. I found it incredibly hard to keep a straight face for that part - not least because I could still see OH's head round the edge of the curtain and he'd got his woolly hat on!
  • hahaha brilliant! :rotfl:
