The board splits just get weirder and weirder! Now there are separate forums for Mums and Dads! At least we're back in the nice generic Families section (for now)!
No doubt it will have changed again tomorrow, it's getting really annoying now . Why on earth do they need separate mums and dads boards? The newborn thread is now in the mums section - because in MSE world newborns don't have dads?!
In other irritating news, OH and myself have both bought muse tickets. I think we need to work on our communication skills0 -

Helloo Everyone
I'm new to this TTC lark. Officially my HB and I are in the first month of Not Trying / Not Preventing. But it's my first after Implanon and I've been obsessively checking CM
I'm 30, and a N. Irish lass living in London. HB and I have been married a year but together for ages. He's self employed and I'm a PhD student, so it's taken us an age to get into an okay financial position for TTC. It's not ideal to be trying going into the final stretch of my studies - my deadline is next September. Simply because it's such a stressful time. If I managed to fall ultra-quickly (unlikely I know) I would squeeze in maternity before the deadline and it would be extended by a year. If not, we may have to postpone TTC-ing for a few months if I'm turning into a basket case. But hopefully that won't happen!
Am on CD19, but I have no idea about my cycle, because I've had Implanon for the past 6 years, and for the last three no periods at all. Not sure I have OVed this month as I didn't get any EWCM and been a bit unwell. But i haven't a clue really
Not planning to temp quite yet, perhaps just see what the next few cycles are like.
Helloo to Birdie, glad you had great hols:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Hi Lara! Lovely to see you here! I know some people who've caught straight after coming off the implant so I've got my fingers crossed that you'll be one of them!
Just planning Christmas presents for people and thinking how amazing it would be be give our parents a BFP for Christmas!Mustn't get my hopes up although I'm feeling oddly optimistic right now even though what with my late OV coinciding with jet-lag and general back-to-work tiredness we only DTD once at the right time.
It only takes one, right?! OH has 'super sperm' too so surely that's in our favour!
It's nice to feel positive for once though, had quite a few months of feeling very down about it all so surely this is a good thing?!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I read becca & amyloofoo's posts this morning, and decided that it was about time I went to the docs as well. Am 13 months off the pill now and my cycles are still all over the place. 30 - 47 days now
So I had my CD1 tests this morning, and am back in a couple of weeks for CD21 tests.
Fingers crossed they show that I ov, or that its all immaterial as I get my BFP this month.
Hello to all the newbies :hello:
Hugs for all in need.
Guess what tho guys?? Its friday!! :j:j:jMarried my lobster in July 2011

I've just ordered 20 balls of wool . I found a bargain and got a bit carried away. Just hope it arrives when OH is out.... looks like I'll be spending this evening trying to find somewhere in the house to hide another 2kg of wool. There's a LOT in there already0

wool lover, i've got bags of the stuff too and no idea what to knit! keep finding hobbycraft bags lurking when i'm tidying lol
Abis fingers crossed for your blood tests.
Birdie i'm also having lots of christmas themed bfp fantasies, my ideal would be giving my mum a card that says 'merry christmas grandma' with a scan picture. but now it would have to be an early scan and i'd be worried about jinxing things. maybe next christmas...
Welcome to Lara and any other newbies i've missed cos i'm a numpty, hope your stay is short and sweet
time2deal really hope everything goes very well today for you x x
my first thought when i logged in and saw the seperate mums and dads board was 'are you on glue?' it's ridiculous!
AFM my body seems to want to be making a big song and dance about gearing up to Ov, that's the only way i can explain all this EWCM it's making. it's it wrong of me to be proud of how egg white it is? so clear, so stretchy lol i'm *hoping* i will actually Ov on saturday cos that'll be CD35 and last time my cycle increased it went from CD21 to CD28, so maybe my body likes going up in weeks lol back is still not right but DH has promised to BD lots this weekend anyway so i'll definitely hold him to that
ooh and i've just been naughty and indulged myself with a Kindle Fire. really wanted one and DH emailed me this morning saying they were on offer. it'll come out of this month and next months 'pocket money'. DH has ordered himself a Solid State Hard Drive on the same agreement, although i don't doubt in about a week he'll just say 'as we've both got something lets just call it even and have our pocket money too' lol
spent ages wracking my brains thinking of a good present for one of my best friends as she always tries really hard so i like to get her something extra thoughtful. I've gone for a book of erotic pictures (may have to have a look myself first...) and we're going to the trafford centre tomorrow so i'll get some nice wine and some posh chocolates and she can have a cosy night inx x

Aww shucks Birdie, thanks
I noticed your conspicuous absence while you were on your holiday
nice to have you back
I'm going for my cd21 blood test this afternoon to check clomid has indeed done it's thing. I'm pretty confident it has though, and I'm hoping I'm right cos we haven't DTD since sunday after ov on saturday night (according to the pains I was getting!)"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
This is my 4th christmas of BFP fantasies. I so wish I could send my parents a scan picture as their christmas card but that's not going to be happening this year again. Looks like they'll just be getting biscuits instead lol.0

CD9 of operation Christmas BFP (aka Christmas stars do work!). Thanks to soy, first sighting of Ewcm today. Nothing else to add, except I am a chocolate craving monster.
Hugs to all that need them and hello to newbies. No getting a BFP before me.
And whoever was asking about soy, I take 5 of the H&B ones just before bed, so fewer side effects.
And to those doing lunaception, please remember you need to get some natural light. I've been using my SAD light most mornings.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
