A + opk usually appears around 12-24 hours before actual ov so if you got a positive yesterday it's probably means that you've likely ov'd today - best to get another bd in tonight if you can - and another one tomorrow for good luck!! :rotfl:0

Haha courgette I always say most men would count themselves lucky
hope you catch it xx
Abis can you update me to cd1 today please? It's very light but definitely there. Finally get to month 2 of my cbfm trial.
Happy Friday ladies xFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Whoever asked about soy - it shortened my cycle by 6 days and gave me some ov pains (which I don't usually get) since I had a nice normal 28 day cycle I probably shouldn't have messed with it but we have to try these things.
DH and I are taking maca root capsules this month, starting on a low dose (full dose is 3 tablets a day) and working up to the full dose slowly. It's supposed to help with fertility and libido, it regulates hormones and increases sperm apparently! I haven't noticed anything much yet, but ill let you kno (google maca root and fertility if you are interested)
The cbfm has given me highs since cd7 but hasnt yet given a peak, fingers crossed it will be this weekendIf at first you dont succeed, try, try again0 -

So by my logic, December there will need to be twice as many to even things up!
How long is your new commute?
Hi mv. New commute is nearly 2hrs compared to about 20mins previously... I need to find a new job quickly! Think cd1 just topped it off for me today, and it's really heavy again this month :mad:0 -
Hugs apple xx
Can I just add re soy, it completely messed me up and I wish I'd never taken it as I think it caused anovulatory cycle the next month. Just to show the other sideFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Sorry to hear that becca. I've never taken soy, isn't it meant to be a herbal clomid or something? I think Q used to take it didn't she?
Hopefully your cycle will get back to normal nice and quickly x
Apple - that is a horrendous increase in commute timeMy journey takes about 1hr15 - 1hr 30, but to be honest I am used to ridiculous commutes. Living in London, I don't think I've ever had a job that is convenient to where I live!
Courgette your post made me laugh! My OH is a bit like that..'come on love we need to get jiggy'....him: 'sigh....ok' ahh the romance! :rotfl:
Well I pee'd on my first stick for this cycle this am. It's wayyyy too early I know, but I suddenly got the fear I may miss the surge if I didn't start today!
I'm hoping for a + around CD13/14, today is only CD7 so a way to go yet.
Soooooooo much waiting! It's a pain in the bum!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Hi Ladies
I hope everyone is well today? I'm after a bit of advice really, loads of ewcm today so want to bd tonight however, and this is really pathetic, I'm not sure how to go about initiating bding?
I'm quite shy even around OH and he tends to initiate bd all the time (we did have a discussion around this because he was getting cross with me) but I had to explain that I really don't know what to do!! And we obviously need to "do it" at the right time to even be in with a chance.......
Any advice would be much appreciated - thanks ladies.
Massive hugs to those caught by the witch and those who are feeling down xxFirst baby due October 2013 :j0 -

Hi Hope,
Thought I'd offer my suggestions, but this is going to be waaaaaay tmi for some so sorry in advance :rotfl:
I have similar issues, as my family are very religious (so being seductive is a no-no) and my ex was a very traditional Indian man whose family always saw me as a bit of a who-er to start with; so I became a bit of a natural prude I thinkAdd to this some unfortunate childhood and sexual experiences and seductive is not something I generally feel comfortable with :oI couldn't talk dirty / initiate to save my life, which OH loves and is secure enough and lovely enough to help me with so things have been slowly improving
I've found that not looking directly at DH when suggesting things (i.e. whispering in his ear or talking over my shoulder) reduces the embarrasment, as does putting on something I wouldn't normally wear / a wig / using a husky voice or accent, so I can turn it into a bit of an it's-not-really-me role play. Another alternative is to suggest what you'd like HIM to do... that way you're sort-of initiating, but he's doing most of the work :rotfl: Of course if the worst comes to the worst then a large glass of wine always helps!
Sorry for tmi and I appreciate what I've suggested isn't for everyone, but it's really helped meIf there's an underlying reason for your discomfort though, then I've found counselling and CBT to be helpful too - although I understand that some people are just naturally shy.
Afm, been feeling really sick and starting to get cramps, so expecting the witch any time really.0
