@ hopelass re Oh and initiating, I would suggest maybe asking him has he any suggestions to help you initiate bd, that way if you go for a more subtle approach he is expecting it, nothing like your oh not picking up on subtle hints to damage your confidence! Personally I find that initiating any kind of intimacy ( long bath, snogging on the couch, massage) often lead to bd without the awkwardness!

AFM cd11 and going with bd every second day ATM, think we will be doing well if we can keep it up. Off for a run with DH, think I may need my head examined!

Quite interesting reading the last few posts!! I always have issues with initiating stuff with my DH, not because I am a shy person but because he is.
He not a prude by any means, hes just a naturally quiet person and hes not the most forward person. He did used to be better, I think some of it is laziness now (same with me though!)
Thing is, I'd quite like to intiate things a bit more as I have no shame :rotfl:but I always get the feeling DH would be absolutely horrified if I was to come out with certain sexy stuff!!
My self esteem isnt what is used to be as I have put on lots of weight so I always think if I try to be sexy (dressing up or trying to look seductive) I'll just send DH running! I know thats ridiculous really as he loves me whatever but I was so much more confident when I was a little slimmer, I felt like a sexy goddess!!! Haha!!! :rotfl:

I posted a few weeks ago, ive been lurking since.. me and OH have decided to just go for it.. so i suppose this is my first month of officially trying.:D Ive just ordered the thermometer - recommended on the first page, and ive just nipped into town to stock up on folic acid....ive also downloaded the ovuview app for my phone (i dont really understand it though - is that the best? or can anyone recommend a different one?)

eeeek.. nervous but so excited! my parents live in Florida - off to see them in May would love to to give them a little surprise... so i have my fingers crossed.

I think ive already ovulated for this month -AF due on the 8th dec, so waiting in anticipation.. so i can begin to chart.

A little about me - Im 29, been with OH for 4 years, not engaged but hes 35 next week so i think its just hit him that time is of the essence.. so to speak. Im a Childrens nurse so i work some crazy shifts, but hoping that we'll be able to fit plenty of BD'ing in;)

There has been so many sad times on here recently. i hope for a better December for everyone!
