Trying for a Baby Part 8

Good morning everyone, my name is Sidney. This week me and OH have decided to TTC baby number 3.
I have been on microgynon for the past year, this week would be the week off in between packets and a new one would be started in Tuesday.
Today is CD 1, though I'm assuming I will need a few cycles for it to settle down into a natural cycle.
Has anyone else come off microgynon to TTC?0 -
Does anyone have fibroids? My sister randomly text me earlier saying she was told she had them when she was pregnant with her first child 2yrs ago and that they can be a family thing so maybe I should get checked.... she doesn't even know we are properly trying so was a bit odd but now it's got me worried, especially as I have some of the symptoms if you Google it :-(
I do, but the ones I have make no difference to ttc, according to my dr as they are small and on the outside. Dr never mentioned any family connection to me- they can pick them up on an ultrasound. If you are concerned I would talk to your dr!
AFM, cd12 and feeling hungover, I didn't even drink that much but it was a late nightso feeling the effects!
I have read back but I can't remember enough to post individual responses. Hugs to all who need them!0 -
Welcome Sidney- hope your stay is short and sweet.
I have no experience of that0 -
Hi Sydney, welcome
I've become pg first month after coming off microgynon 3 times. Two went on to be miscarriages but the other time became my lovely DS2. I'm now on month 5 of ttc #3, I am actually seriously considering going back on it for a couple of months if we're unsuccessful again this cycle, it clearly makes me conceive very quickly!
Good luck, hope your stay is short and sweetUpdating soon...0 -

hugs for all the others on cd1

oh says he is going for sa next week so we shall see0 -
Oh, CD1 again for me today. That makes the last cycle very short - only 20 days. Think I'll buy some OPKs to try to work out if I OV really early or if my LP is haywire.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0

CD3 for me. Not been on for a while as my laptop has been out of action and I find it very hard to type on my phone. Laptop now has a new hard drive and is back in action but I have so much to catch up on.
I'm a bit disappointed this month as I had what looked like an implantation dip at the right time, plus a few days of feeling really nauseous but I guess it was just a bug. Still a few positive things about not being pregnant in November:
At least it means I'll be able to drink at the office Christmas party, not to mention the bottle of Bombay Sapphire gin I just got on offer...
And it's another month we can be paying off the credit card, and I can keep studying for my exams without the added pressure of looming maternity leave.
Also it's the first time since coming off Depo and starting my periods again that I have had what could be deemed a "normal" period. Normally I have one day where I feel like throwing up/fainting from the pain, and have to take lots of painkillers and just take myself off to bed for a day. This month was a bit crampy but otherwise completely normal which was wonderful! Also this is my shortest cycle so far since coming off Depo - 29 days and I really hope it stays around this length and doesn't go back up into the 30s.
Atton: good luck for your DH's SA next week, hopefully you will get some answers.
Becca: I have had acupuncture, years ago, for back pain and insomnia and it was immensely helpful. The needles look long but only the very very tip goes in so it's not painful or scary and in fact is extremely relaxing and it helped me a lot. It's a lovely experience, you should definitely try it.
Tink: Love the cake! And happy birthday to your DD.
Rumfeeble - Have you noticed any difference in the maca root yet? Wondering if we should maybe try some.0 -
Still no AF for me, think I'm between 4 and 1 day late now (as cycles vary from 28 - 31 days)
Felt suddenly nauseas last night, but think
Little bit excited, but telling myself AF is just around the corner, as my pcos makes me late occasionally.
Hope everyone else is enjoying their weekend?0 -
