Afternoon all.

Been out guitar shopping today with OH as he wanted a new one for his 40th. I have performed open-wallet surgery this afternoon! :eek:

Thankfully friends and family are contributing. He's happy anyway, so all good.

Oh and I've taken leave of my senses and decided to dye my hair pink

I think I'm having a midlife crisis! :rotfl:

My friend dyed her hair pink last year and it was lovely. Now she has it two shades of blue (dark and light) and I love it, I'm a bit jealous but my work would never in a million years let me get away with doing that. I did have it postbox red years ago though and loved it, I thought I was just like Angela in My So-Called Life if anyone remembers it?

if i am honest i am a little angry today as people who i tried to have something with when i was sing;e have all suddenly come out of the woodwork and are asking me if they can bd with me as i am now a married woman they think i am more of a challenge and no amount of me telling them to go forth is making them get the pic that i aint interested

TeamLowe - what's the kindle fire like? Have been debating buying one all weekend, but don't actually need one as I already have a kobo ereader, a smart phone and a newish laptop...still want one tho!

i love mine, had a kindle but couldnt read on the way home in the dark and i was always using DH's ipad to browse the internet so this is perfect for me.
processing speed is fine, no set up required if you already have an amazon account, easy to use as its android like my phone, battery life is great and i dont have the hd but the picture quality is similar to non hd tv when streaming- i tested it on russel howard

the only minus i would put is its a lot thinner than i thought it would be but then again you can type with both hands like a big phone when its upright.

its quite chunky too, abouth twice the depth of an ipad but feels more solid an has gorilla glass which is meant to be really strong - i felt confident letting my six month old niece give it a few grabs cos she love the little frog game i showed her and her mum
i think its an absolute bargain at £100, or an extra tenner for no ads. tbh ive hardly noticed the ads x x

It's turned out more red than pink, but i think under natural light it'll look pinker.

PMA dive today when I realised that DH will be away cd13 and 14 and he's been rejecting my advances. Had a wee cry, trying to stop now, not because I don't love DH but I'd kill for a normal s*x life again
