    Morning MV,

I'm stressing a little today as we have the FS appointment this afternoon. I am trying to brace myself for bad news, but I know regardless I will be a mess later. I just hope she is nice and not too 'there is no hope' about it all.

I am prepared for tears, but I have acupuncture after, and then have to go food shopping. I may not be in the mood...
  • Morning T2D - Good luck for today. It's really good you are seeing the FS, hopefully they'll be able to help put you on the right track.

I keep thinking I should go and see someone about my 2 CP's, but just haven't got round to it (or am in denial maybe that there is anything wrong :o)

I hope you get some answers x

Enjoy the reflexology MV. I love reflexology, although I think last time I fell asleep an dmay have been doing some very unladylike snoring - the lady commented at the end that I must be nice and rested!

Of course, that means I can never go there again. :)

I must admit I am starting to really enjoy the waving of hands/ mystical process that is acupuncture. In an indescribable way it makes me feel better. They talk about re-aligning you chi - now this sounds like rubbish to me, but in a very strange way I do feel like my body 'flows' better than it did. And it's very relaxing. I think part of the process is a form of cognitive behavioural therapy - the doctor is always positive, and telling me how good things are for me, and talking about the process once I am pregnant (never if, but when) to make sure it's a healthy pregnancy etc.

It's nice to hear, even if you don't believe it.
  • The reflexology was wonderful.
The lady who did it was so lovely, and it ended up as a part counselling session. I even had a bit of a cry :o

It was just so nice to relax for a bit, and talk to someone who has been through tough times herself (she had a mc at 12 weeks some years ago), who actually listens. I got more out of my half an hour with her than I did out of a course of NHS counselling sessions!

Bottom line is I need to relax, and live in the now. Stop wishing my life away in 2 week incriments, and focus on what I have rather than what i don't.

She thinks reflexology is good for ttc and said she has helped quite a few women who had struggled.

So I will hopefully be seeing her every 2 weeks.

    Good Luck for today T2D!
MV i'm glad the session has done you good :) when you say you want to see someone about the CPs, do you mean a doctor or counselling? I'd always recommend counselling, the difference between my mental state at the start and the end of my sessions was like black and white, pretty much literally :o

Tinks happy birthday to your daughter, you must be brave wanting another with a toddler and a teenager! lol

AFM back at work today, back is still stiff but not sore and my boss let me have the last two days as flex so didn't want to push my luck (sickness absence is counted against you when it comes to redudancy stuff).

I'm VERY excited to have EWCM and was nagging DH to do his duties but it went from 'i don't want to hurt you' to 'i'm too tired'. honestly. it's not even like i want foreplay, he said himself, with the conceiveplus he can just stick it straight in! :rotfl:i mean, it's not like our problem is i don't ovulate, it's not like i've only ovulated around 5 times in the past 15 months so we should be leaping on every chance we get :(
I'll get him tonight, as long as my niece isn't cranky - her crying tends to put him off the idea of having one of our own :rotfl:

  • Good luck for BD'ing tonight TL!

i'm like that with OH, foregt the foreplay, just do the deed! We've already agreed that BD'ing for baby-making and BD'ing for fun are 2 completely different things! You gotta do what you gotta do!

I had counselling about a year ago as I was worrying that I was suffering with a bit of PND, however after waiting for weeks on the waiting list to see the counsellor, I was a bit disappointed.

The guy was ok, friendly enough but I did just keep getting the feeling that this was just his job and he was constantly clock-watching. I'd find we'd be in the middle of discussing something and he'd suddenly say 'I'm aware of the time so we're going to have to wrap up now'!!!

Not great when you are in the middle of talking about something really personal!

He also used to try and interpret what I was saying, and 9 times out of 10 would get it wrong, so after about 3 sessions, I stopped going!

I find talking is easier to do with someone you either know and trust, or someone who you just connect with. The reflexology lady was the latter.

Lunchtime BD in the bag! :D Totally agree with the baby-making BD and fun BD being completely different things! It was a bit of an awkward rush today (thank goodness for Concieve Plus to speed things up!) and OH said 'So much for having a baby born of love, it's getting to the stage where it's going to be born of frustration and forced quickies!' :rotfl: He seems so much more on-board with things now though. He's really tired today and normally would cry off and say we can't do anything if neither of us are really into it, but now it's like he's flipped a switch and understands how important his role is in all of this. :) Just hope he keeps this new attitude! :p

Really glad you enjoyed the reflexology MV and that you connected with the lady doing it! I went a few times earlier this year but didn't really get on with it. I think it was down to the lady though; it's someone I used to work with and she's nice and I explained what was going on but she's not the easiest person to talk to and she was just obsessed with how it was affecting my bowel movements!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

  • haha my reflexology lady kept asking if I had regular bowel movements too!

They must do a big chapter on Bowels when they train! :rotfl:

Bah, how much would we all love to just be able to look into the future and just know that we would get a forever baby at some point??

It woudl stop all the stressing and obsessing, that's for sure!
