I don't mind if you want to pm me.

    The timings for me were:
    • Mid June - received smear results (moderate dyskarosis)
    • End June - colposcopy appointment at hospital ( I think they would normally perform LLETZ treatment at the same time but he was convinced I didn't have anything wrong and that my smear result was incorrect so he took a couple of biopsies to double check).
    • End July - biopsy results received (showed CIN2) and told I needed treatment
    • Early September - had the LLETZ treatment
    • End October - confirmed removal of CIN2 and CIN3 and that I had clear margins.
As I said I think normal practice would have been to do the LLETZ at the same time as the colposcopy and had that happened everything would have been done by early July. So they eeked it out for an extra three months.

Thanks, that its reassuring. I might try to make sure they do what is necessary if they can on Friday. I'm off for holidays in two weeks, so we won't start fertility treatment till January anyway, so hopefully long enough to recover. Plus maybe dh’s efforts on improving his count may also stay to work.

Feeling a bit more positive at least. Two appointments this week will knock me back I'm sure!

Hey all I'm a lurker on this thread and need some help. I was on my period 2 weeks ago and this morning I thought I started my period then this evening then now I have a brown discharge (sorry if that is too much information). I'm really worried.

    Hello and welcome.
What you've described doesn't sound unusual - I've had all sorts of unexpected bleeding outside of the "normal" 28 day cycle, and although I was concerned at the time, nothing was found to be wrong (and I went on to have a baby with no bother).
However, if you're concerned, it might be worth going to have a chat with your GP. They can do tests etc if they feel necessary to rule any potential causes out.

Aww bless you Becca! :o Yes we got into Fantasyland (after a couple of failed attempts because they were originally only letting in annual pass holders!) and it's lovely, a little girl's dream land as it's all Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid! So with that in mind, I loved it! :D Very exciting building work happening at Universal too, looks like they might be expanding Harry Potter World but no-one would confirm it! It means we'll have to go back when *whatever's* being built is finished though! ;)

  • Good to see you birdie, hope you had a great time at Disney :) fingers crossed there's a holiday baby getting comfy in there!
pomme, hope you get an answer soon (and its a good one)
T2d hope Friday goes ok at its all sorted for Xmas and a new start in January
Fannyanna, great to hear of a nice doc, makes a massive difference.
Skaps, mid cycle spotting can happen for all sorts of reasons, ovulation, hormones being a bit awry, rough bd, just because your body likes to throw you a curve ball now and then. I'd say nothing to worry about unless its happening to you regularly then speak to a doctor maybe?
I'm feeling a little less down in the dumps now, managed to have a conversation with pg work lady, coo at her scan pic and ask some question and felt really proud of myself. I'm counting the little wins at the moment!

Happy birthday to your DD Tink! You must've had her when you were 10, surely?! ;)

    Hugs for CD1 Raz :(

Didn't manage to BD last night, we were both knackered and as OH put it, 'My brain really wants to as I want a baby... but it's just not going on downstairs!' :( Told him we're doing it at lunchtime instead, fingers crossed it happens and it's The One! :)

Well done for staying strong with the work lady Lemon, must have been difficult and I'm proud of you! Here's to little wins!

time2deal - if you want an ear to chew about it feel free to PM me. I was a complete mess at the time as I took it all quite badly and I didn't help myself by googling.

Bigzippy - I was going to say that I don't think I have endometriosis but after having a quick look it might be something to look into. I don't know too much about it to be honest.
  • Happy 15th to your DD1 Tinks :)

    Morning all..how is everyone today?

I'm feeling grouchy and easily irritated by work colleagues today, I'm having to bite my tongue with a couple of people here.

Got my reflexology session in half an hour though, so am hoping that may help relax me a bit and I'm also going to mention my ttc problems and see if she can help at all :o
